Not the right thread but did you try a different server?

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

I suppose I should start worrying because I am a claimer of list 1 and my address is neither in the snapshot list, neither in the KYC list. Is it your case ?

Most of us had been trying to claim the token since 2016. I participated in the previous claim which some claims was sent and majority was still left due to what David claimed to be missing information(which wasn't even communicated during the initial process.

Doesn't anyone know the total value usd of the unclaimed IOTA?

This is what I don't understand, why the rush to remove the claiming tools from the wallet, most icos still has their claiming tools on the wallet.

Why is it taking years to give people back their IOTA  Huh

They still have claims from crowd sale period and recently they took control of some user's coins which is still yet to be refunded back from what I read.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how the next two weeks pan out... whilst I can't believe I'm back in the waiting for 'two weeks' camp again, it is reassuring they've started reuniting people with their funds but still a long way to go.

I believe there are 3 groups of claims going on.

1. List 1 - These are prelaunch ICO coins.  They've never received their IOTA so far.
2. List 2 - These people had their IOTA in their wallet, the address generation process was changed so all balances went to 0 and needed to be claimed.  The wallet claim feature was removed in April for security reasons (no idea what these issues were).  Required sending seed to David to try to reclaim, if missed the window the coins were considered a donation to iota foundation.
3. Recently funds were seized by iota foundation because people had spent twice from an address which may have weakened their security.  This seizing was done in the name of preventing theft so no one could touch the funds except the iota foundation.

My balance is still 0 (from list 2, bought in late 2016 and noticed wallet balance went to 0 just before June 2017 and jumped through all hoops I've heard about so far so avidly awaiting to be reunited with my funds like all of us here).

I think it's time to start approaching the media. I'm already at my max level of tolerance. He's just making fool of those that invested in their crowd sale.

I've not mentioned it on the forums I moderate just yet because I don't want to negatively mess with the price, at some point however you have to say enough is enough to ensure the new wave in the crypto community doesn't get burnt.

They said they'll be completed by 12th January, seems a generous window for them do to what they said they'll do... I'm going to wait and see a bit longer as we all want this project to work if possible.

Oh, I didn't see the new deadline. It's almost 2 months since we completed the KYC session. Anyway, I'll wait.  Cfb has been very helpful since the beginning, I wish he was the one in charge of the claim.

I understand your frustration and I'm frustrated myself but If you don't need the money it is maybe better to hold.

Yes I shall probably hold them (at least 90%) because I believe in the iota project. However, before thinking to hold them or not, I would like to have them.  Wink

IOTA is my one and only ICO I took part. Why? Cause DAGs (tangle) are much more expressive and more flexible than lists (blockchain). And all other coins I know use variants of lists. If a new coin come up based on DAG I will give it a try but until than I will keep my IOTAs from list 1 (which I don't have). Anyway: even if all list 1 owner will sell immediately what will happen?  Will IOTA drop? Don't think so. And if IOTA drops we will stop selling cause  we became so greedy...
