Busy, try again (504)
The server seems to be overloaded right now. Please try again in a little while.
If you are getting this error while trying to post something, press the reload/refresh button in your browser and accept the browser warning. Keep doing this until you get a non-error page, at which point your post will be made. Leave at least a few seconds between each attempt.
It is normal for this error to occur every once in a while. There is generally no need to report it. However, if you get this error so often that it becomes especially disruptive, post to the Meta section of the forum about it.

OK it's disruptive, it took like 10 mins and 10 attempts to post this.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Yes, it definitely is getting disruptive.
It was raised a couple of days ago as well. You should probably lock this thread and continue here.

That period of slowness was caused by some maintenance I'm doing. It might happen a small handful of additional times over the next ~8 hours (but hopefully it won't).

On the bright side, I've done several things which should significantly improve average forum speed once I'm done here.

hello sir, i just wonder if that maintenance you do also affects our posts counts? i just observed that my post count reduces, they said you are some sort of deleting some redundant threads so if someone posted to that thread, his post count will definitely be affected, is this true?
