i have more than 7 hrs with a 2500k (approx 100 khash) with the supplied miner, and the only one found block is orphan...

This is normal???

Very unlucky, you mining with the included minerd from the zip?

yes is the minerd version that comes with the wallet.

Ok, i go to sleep, and check tomorrow if found something, good day guys!!

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Seems like I might have a working pushpool server going. Just need need to test it a bit more. It found a block, which is a good sign!

You can also try my beta pool:

http://onecoin.serverpit.com:8080

I'm still waiting on my proper server to be re-installed, so latency to this will be high.

Damnit, wrote the address wrong. It's serverpit not serverpool.

feeleep's pool seems a lot more polished than mine. I'll keep mine up just for backup.
For those interested, the changes to pushpool were actually quite small: http://pastebin.com/diKSnafH
I'm not sure if what I've done is entirely correct, but it seems to work Cheesy
To get pushpool (artforz) to compile, you will also have to add a scrypt-jane folder and dump the contents of https://github.com/floodyberry/scrypt-jane into it.

I need to move my pool to its intended server, and I will be doing that in 10 minutes. Shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes to complete.

New server is up. I've updated the DNS entries for the old address, but it will take some time to propagate.
I've added a new subdomain that should resolve to the new server: http://onc.serverpit.com   (not port 8080).
