You have a pre-sale price of 8.8 cents where 100Million tokens will be sold.

Then you will sell the rest (250 million) through some method which I think is this. People send you, say $100 of crypto. At the end of the ICO the total $ sent to PowerLedger is added up and divided by 250million, and that is the price of 1 POWR. Correct?

My question is then what is the point of the pre-sale? There is a chance that the price 8.8c is way too high and the advantage of the pre-sale is lost. Of course there is a chance it goes the other way.
I guess the lack of transparency about the final price is troubling to me.

In this article ( https://www.fool.com.au/2017/08/17/australia-gets-its-first-ethereum-ipo/ ) it states that you are looking to raise between 5 and 20 million (not sure if AUD or USD). Doesn't that put the price of the token between 1.4c to 5.7c. Worse if that article was in AUD.
I don't understand the 8.8c pre-sale costing.

Hi thank you for your comments, all figures are priced in USD.  In the article the quote said they would be happy to raise 5 million - 20 million but this token sale was always going to be an open sale without a cap so it is for the market to decide.

Ok fair enough. So you think then that you will raise the necessary 31 Million USD in the ICO to justify the 8.8c pre-sale price?

It could be 2 or 3 times that amount. The market value of the main sale could be far larger than the pre sale price.  We have a lot of interest at this stage.

Please help me about my issue upon registering the bounty campaign. All the blanks I filled correctly but the third part when I clicked confirm, it asks me to type cptcha but I never see any captcha only the word captcha. After 5 minutes the captcha still not appearing, so I refresh it and rewrite everything from the start tot he bottom, but when I connect it to fb and twitter , its says email is already registered. but I never got any confirmation from my email.

Honestly, I like the project but won't be investing because of the ICO structure. Pre-sale price is rather high and ICO is uncapped which is a big no-no as far as community consensus goes. Uncapped ICO shows that team is not interested in creating value for the investors but would rather keep all the money for themselves. Besides, after raising all that money, you will only be selling 35% of the tokens which is very low considering most other projects are selling 60-70% and keeping the rest for the team.

Then we have concerns with long delays. 4 weeks for ICO whose date is not fixed yet. Another 4 weeks for token distribution. Then probably another 2-4 weeks before hitting a big exchange. That's a long time to keep your money locked in crypto for those who are investing in the pre-sale.

I don't mind the idea , i don't mind the team ether..

But being an Australian company, these guy's will have to pay tax on any money earned via ICO as the Australian tax office will see the ICO money as revenue.

So if they raise as an example $20 mill , about $7 mill will go to the Aus tax office.

Future more, while the idea sounds good, the amount of customers that would look at using such a service will be minimal IMO, the target market would need to 1. have solar power to sell & 2. be a little tech savvy in order to be confidante enough to trade the tokens in a exchange.

 


I think the biggest let down with this company is the greed they are displaying by falling for the hype of ICO's & whatever inquiries they have.

This is clearly shown by not having a cap on the ICO.

Secondly, this company does nothing for the Crypto community, it does not support a decentralised way of life.

Again, its purely greed.. it's a centralised company with a half decent idea but targeting a very low market      

I hate this company already
