I know It is very difficult to get success with CPU mining on bitcoin testnet3 version , But I want to try , just to have better idea about system and how mining is performed. I have already downloaded the full node for testent3 and now I need to configure mining. What should I do next? for windows platform. Step by step guide would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You don't have to mine on the testnet to try out mining. Might as well run a real node and mine for real. Both will give you no results but at least you'd have a node.

cgminer (mining software) used to support CPU mining, not sure if it still works out properly as the developer (ck) strongly discourages CPU/GPU mining nowadays.
