What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?

Of course you must go to college. It is different if you have a degree. Its the only thing that can never be taken away from you. You must go to college, study well and graduate. Great opportunities will chase you once you have a diploma in your hands.

Of course you should go, it is never late for education, also the more smart people live longer scientists says, beside just think about how many chicks aawait you there!

If you ask me its better if you go to college. Im in the same situation before and I was thing what will happen if I graduated from college. I was earning a decent amount of money and Im happy with my life but there are times that I felt insecure when others are spending like it was nothing. Having a degree gives you a lot of opportunities. There's a huge difference in salary compared to those who doesn't have a degree. I know you can earn money now but don't be blinded with small amount of money.

About diploma..they also have one ..but not in the way we get used to know..Anyway, I  still think that its all about your aspiration and desire to study..you even could learn smt from the internet and literature

It all depends whether you need the knowledge from there or not. Doing it just for the paper is nonsense in my opinion. Of course the paper is important if the field requires it.
The best advice would be to consider all the variables (incl. long term goals, hobbies, passion, financial situation, short term goals etc.).
