Toronto based Spot Systems, LTD. is set to raise $25M through an ICO which is taking place in November. The company, which is innovating the way payments are processed, using proprietary blockchain technology, is already offering pre-ICO allocations to institutional and qualified individual investors.

Spot is changing the way that payments are made by removing the need for financial intermediaries using a blockchain based platform. The blockchain based system also significantly reduces the likelihood of fraud or payment mishaps.

Spot’s technology allows for users to make payments for just a 1.5% fee, (about 50% lower than the industry standard) and allows payments to happen instantly. Spot allows users that have any two (or more) base currencies, to instantly make payments between each-other. For example, if your base currency is Norwegian Konra, and your friend's base currency is litecoin, you can pay them the amount of choice instantly, and for the small cost of 1.5% -- No matter how exotic the currency, the cost and speed is the same.

Spot has an experienced business and technical team, with experience launching multiple prior ICO's.

The company’s CTO Kshitish Balhotra has worked on several previous ICO’s and has financial sector expertise. The company has also attracted several high profile advisory board members, including William Mougayar, of Virtual Capital Partners and Claudio Rojas of Hurt Capital.

With its November ICO, Spot is poised to take on payment processing giants such as PayPal and Stripe by using blockchain to remove financial intermediaries, dramatically lowering to cost and waiting period that users experience when making and receiving payments.
