There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We have got more and more artists coming up with great concepts. I would recommend tweeting it on the @deeponionx and $ONION tags and let it be shared

My wallet has a weight of 40k. Yesterday it staked twice 1.62 and 1.93 Onions. But this happened after 16 days of staking.

Also 2.57,1.44 and 1.43 Onions were staked but not accepted. What I dont understand is how often does this happen?

Staked but not accepted? I thought it was a rare occurrence, isn't it? Huh Huh

You need to split your weight into blocks of smaller chunks. Please go the the deeponion.org forum and then send your own address your onions using coin control features. Make sure that you have smaller chunks to get better chance of staking. Good luck

Serious investors seem to begin to understand the great potential of deeponion.

Indeed .. looking at the project I am guessing bigger investors have started buying in. This is the time to shine people. Make sure that you grab as much before the prices go high

Calm down brother.. Even though the message is just in the tune of Friday the 13th .. lets not forget the history of Friday 13th and how many atrocities were done during those black days. Hands and heads were chopped so trivially that life did not matter. So please spare the gory image a bit. Thanx

guys, are there any tutorials on how to install deep onion wallet in an ubuntu setup?

There is a very nice video tutorial here:
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/tutorial-install-deeponion-on-ubuntu-nix.1639/

Very nice step by step walk through for Ubuntu users. Nice found Smiley
Just added this tutorial to the Blogger links list Smiley

deeponionlist.blogspot.com

I really could have used that a while ago. I could not install it on Linux no matter how hard I tried. My head was spinning.

Still just wanted you to know guys!

That's great. If you check the history, it went as high as .0008-.0009 previously and DeepOnion just got started  Smiley

Tomorrow I m going to apply for this great project airdrop when I become a Jr Member what do you think will I get accepted or not?
Good luck。 From your account, should meet the requirements, I noticed that your number reached more than 140, should be far more than your level, I think you have a good chance. If successful, please hand in the post, let us see your success. Thank you

Can this function be adopted by others coins too? In this case I think the popularity of DeepOnion will increase a lot.

It can and in the way already is. Bitcoin scripting language has an operator, whose sole purpose is to store data on blockchain. Moreover you don't even need a special script operator to do this, in fact data & messages had been stored on bitcoin blockchain before that operator was introduced. That said, no Bitcoin wallet has a frontend for creating this type of transaction. So even though you are able to store hashes of files on bitcoin blockchain (or any blockchain for that matter) you'll have to construct that transaction programmatically through a console, which not an easy thing to do. So the fact that DeepVault will construct such transaction for you and all you'll have to do is click on a button is pretty big in my book.

Just for laughs, here's an example of bitcoin transaction used to store a text message on blockchain (this is not my transaction, it was posted on bitcointalk some time ago and I just bookmarked it)
https://blockchain.info/tx/52dd20f60d6e14e5a783e7668cf410efdea40cd9a92479b0f2423d0bc63575fa?show_adv=true

Oh wow, I didn´t know about this. Now I understand how valuable will be DeepVault. It´s something new and it can attract a lot of people from differents altcoins including Bitcoin too.

I want to know the possible uses of this feature. Someone said this can be a good tool for lawyers and accountants. I don´t understand why. Can someone explain me please?

Thanks.

What are you mining with the gtx 1070 graphics card?
Worth still to invest in mining?
I'm thinking to buy another rig or go straight to the coin.
