Woot! Congratulations to the Dev Team on the launch of this wallet innovation which is unique to DeepOnion!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I have the feeling that DeepOnion has build a crazy spirit. So much activity here and so much user generated content. It is just insane. People through so much money into ICOs, and Onions Market Cap still so low.
Active user base is key and we have the most active user base of all smaller coins, not even that, also as much as some bigger coins.
So happy that I am an erly adopter of this amazing DeepOnion grassroot movement.
I couldn't agree more! I believe DeepOnion has the potential to be a top 20 coin, possibly much higher. I haven't seen a better community for a coin outside the top 20 coins and its probably better than a few within. I'm excited I found DeepOnion early on. I have a strong belief that this will be one of the top coins!

DEEPVAULT IS IMMINENTWe're almost there guys! Just putting the final touches into place! I wonder who'll be the first to register their important documents on the DO blockchain? Safeguard your files now! Can't wait to see Deep Vault in action, this is such good news! Finally a secure data storage! Deeponion makes me happier by the day!

Can you make video tutorial? You just need to download zip file. Than extract it and just open DeepOnion-qt.exe and you are OK to go. You don't need to do anything special to make it work. I can confirm that it is working without any issues so far.

All the other investor run behind all the ico fever, when they don't see when a coin has true potential! Deeponion in three years will be in the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap for sure! NOTHING CAN STOP IT! ALL THE WAY UP

DeepOnion with DeepVault v1.3 Released! Update recommended. Thanks for the great news devs, can't wait to try it. DeepVault is a great feature in my opinion, it's good that the file hash is stored on the blockchain, so there's no way it can be modified. I would maybe add one advantage that was not mentioned in the post, but is very important. The DeepVault does not only prove that some file is unmodified original, it can also prove when it was created. This can be very useful for example for some authorship / patent disputes, where it is important to show who authored some documents first. With DeepVault, we'll be able to show in which block the file hash was recorded, which gives also proof of time.

I am sure the Dev Team appreciate your enthusiasm, but the DeepVault is not for data storage - it is for the verification of documents. Check out this video for an excellent presentation of what DeepVault actually does: https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deepvault-introduction-part-2-sneak-peak.3977/

do I have to become a member first before I can get any airdrops or is there a signature for a "Newbie" also?
There's no airdrops for newbie accounts, I see that your account is pretty old since it's registered on 2014 the problem is that your account enters in the category of "waken up" which are not allowed to join the airdrop either, what I recommend you if you're really interested in this project is to create a new account here on BCT, register also on DO's official forum ( https://deeponion.org/community/) and start posting, contributing and supporting the DeepOnion community as much as possible (try doing some of the bounties, e.g. do a video, wallpapers, do some translations if needed, etc) with that new account. You will not be able to participate in the airdrops either with this new account since the limit time is September 1st but I think it's quite likely that they will push that limit once again in a few months, I'm not saying that this will happen since I'm not a staff member nor I have any inside info about this but I think it's probable that it will happen. A new account with good reputation and good contributions in both forums looks much better than a waken up account with meaningless one liners and asking about joining the airdrop every 2 weeks. Hopefully this answers the question from many newbies asking the same over and over again about why they can't participate in the airdrop, make sure your account is not waken up and if it is create a new one and posting good content about DeepOnion, you should focus more on DO's forum not so much here really, if you behave and your contributions are good the dev team will notice you and they will surely let you participate in the airdrop at some point before they are over, I can assure you that.

LIke the patent dispute you are talking about. I think to have it implemented now is a huge step to make that coin to be taken more serious. AND i hope people hodling and sticking to the wonderful Onion stay strong and build up even more features. Time to grow up Onion, on your way to bigger exchanges and the long way to the end of the airdops. It will be a blast!

Congratulations, another milestone of success is what we can witness here, this is big and will surely drive the price up. No wonder we are stable and have a little uptrend now despite most alts are falling, this is what you called professionalism, dev are doing what they say.

Digital products, important files, documents... The user can know the correct file from the dev team safely can use. So malware and virus threats eliminated.

Can anyone explain what's so great about this DeepVault feature? Would anybody pay an onion just to register a file hash on the blockchain?
Wouldn't you prefer to use GPG and manage the keys yourself? Why not just generate a hash and pay some extra attention to a few last digits?
