Hello Everyone!

Made some banners we can use to post on websites or use for advertising purposes.

I made 8 of the most popular sizes which are:
200x200, 250x250, 300x250, 336x280, 468x60, 728x90, 160x600, 300x600

Currently working with 3 of my clients that have bitcoin related websites so I can put a banner on their pages. This will help bring in more people and give us brand awareness.

I did a simple design that gives more attention to what we actually offer than the logo itself. This is a technique which works best and gets the most clicks from the experience I have. This is just my first set. Will continue to work on more sets.

To download the banners and PSD files visit the official DeepOnion forums:
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-website-google-adword-banners-by-doglover.3660/

Hi Morchid, Replied here again with a attached screenshot of your banner added to the blogger list page.
Hope you and everybody likes it Cheesy

Sorry. But this project smells like a sh*t Grin

Are you a paid chill or just a common troll ?

The least you could do is argue your point.

But I guess that's too much work.

hello everybody, a friend of mine (known here as Knepala) has introduced me to Deeponion and I have bought a bunch of onions. I have a question now that he can't help me with, I want to change laptops, from windows to a Mac.

I've already copied the wallet.dat to an external drive but I don't know where to put it on my Mac and how it can synchronize.

Any advice is welcome.Wink

anyone? still trying to figure out where the wallet file should go on a mac...

Hi.
Not sure if your query was already answered.

In Mac, please try in this location, run your wallet first so that folder will be created.

~/Library/Application Support/DeepOnion

There you replace the new wallet.dat file with your backed up wallet.dat and let me know if it works.

DeepVault
DeepVault is a blockchain innovation brought to you by the DeepOnion Development team. DeepVault allows users to determine whether or not a file has been changed or corrupted by enabling hash verification of the file.

Non-technical users:
A hash is a random string of characters of fixed length (for example: hello = 2cf24dba5fb0a30e26e83b2ac5b9e29e1b161e5c1fa7425e73043362938b9824, hello1 = 91e9240f415223982edc345532630710e94a7f52cd5f48f5ee1afc555078f0ab). A hash is unique as no two inputs (files or texts) generate the same hash. For instance, hello and hello1 will have completely different hash values as witnessed in the previous example.

One use for hashing is the ability to generate the hash of a file. What this means is that the current version of the file is hashed at that moment in time. As previously mentioned, even changing 1 character in the file will generate a completely different hash.

This is obviously very useful if you have an important file (such as a legal contract) that you wish to verify its integrity. Upon signing a contract, you could generate its hash using the wallet and store it in the blockchain. You could then check in a few months time that the hash generated earlier matches the current hash of the file. If they match, it means that the file has not been altered and thus the contract is still valid. If they do not match, it means that the file has been altered (if this is a legal document, you need to make sure that someone has not maliciously tampered with it).

The benefit of utilising the blockchain is that it is immutable (cannot be changed). That means that when you store the hash, it is available forever and can never be changed.

Technical Users:
The hash is generated using SHA-256, a current hashing function with no known collisions. The function can also incorporate the user's wallet to provide restriction as to the hash value (a form of cryptographic security).

Important:
DeepVault is not a file store, it is a hash store. You should take every necessary step to secure your documents from tampering by storing them in a secure location.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to answering any of your questions.

DeepVault sounds very interesting. I wonder if at some point in the future it could be used to easily verify downloads.

The scenario I am thinking is, a download site stores their files' hashes in the blockchain and I, as a user, can download a file and be sure it is the correct file.

Yes it is a good sample for a usage area. Most files are changed by hackers and some virus & malwares added. This way any download site can safely publish their hashes confirmed with DeepOnion blockchain and the users can verify.

in the future all documents released by dev team (for example new wallet client etc) will be registered in DeepOnion blockchain and is guaranteed by the DeepVault so people can check authencity of the file. Safer upgrades with deeponion is possible!

Some accounts didnt received the airdrops because they got ban. I think the issue might be that they had around 10 posts for the week,  but the quality is very limited or superficial. Like saying things  like, "I have joined the Facebook and Twitter campaign," or "Looks like an interesting project, I will keep my eye on this project." Or "Sounds really interesting, I will keep my eye on this thread..."

They do not have ten for a lack of a better word, ok posts. They were low quality.

i have the same assumptions like yours.
post done here in bitcointalk forum is really important if you really wanted to take part of the airdrop.
let us all remember that we are carrying the signatures of DeepOnion.
therefore we must show to other members of this forum that we joined the airdrop because we believe on it.
and not just because we wanted to gain easy money.
keep it up guys Cheesy

Thanks for clarifying this out!  Glad its finaly out!   But i believe the last article about it is wrong, its not a file store but only a hash store, the file is not actualy saved on the blockchain like it was mentionned in that article.

I beleive this should be corrected in order to avoid others confusion.  Still glad that we have this feature since like stated, this feature will help us confirms that documents haven't been altered by anyone and validate its authenticity.

Well done!

We're currently in the final stages of testing so please be patient. We have to make sure it is perfect and reflects the overall excellence of DeepOnion. It's what our community deserves! As soon as it's ready we will make a formal announcement. (Don't quote me but all being well very soon!)
