Hello,

What exactly do i need to make rig miner with 10x or 12x GPU GTX 1060 6GB ? How miners are doing it if motherboard are supporting just 6 or 7 or max8 gpus? How they do it if there are no power supply with so many connections. I know it is possible but please tell me how can i do it?

I haven't heard of a 12x card rig miner before.
Well without alot of tweaking and extra hardware to implement into the configuration for it to work.
But then you need to think about how stable it would be if you max it out.
That is where mining tends to fail when someone wants to cut costs with trying to max out their hardware/equipment capabilities and in doing so usually costs them more in damage and repair costs then actually making anything from mining for doing it this way.

You'd likely need a custom BIOS for the motherboard due to several limitations, one being the fact that some OSes might not even support more than eight GPUs. Also, this thread is in the wrong section and belongs in 'Altcoin Mining'. Please move it. For the power connectors, they likely use high end PC power supplies or use breakout boards like I do with server psus, which can give you more than ten or twelve PCI connectors. In fact, I run an entire rig with a server psu and it runs just fine.

That's possible and runs off of splitting one 16x into 4x4x or something like that, but those adapters are real expensive from what I see on some websites and it's better to just buy more motherboards than to take all the time and hassle to do something so small.
