Has rootstock been a success?

Hi I wanted to get up to date on rootstocks progress but I'm finding this information hard to come by. I don't really here if any projects being launched on rootstock. Is it still only a test net release or has the final product been released? And is it any good? I've seen high expectations for the transaction per second they expect
