Have to agree with you there. Most of the conflicts around the world right now are being fueled by religion. Even look at the past conflicts like the one in the former Yugoslavia. People belonging to the same ethnic and racial group were killing each other on the basis of religion.

As it has been for an extremely long time ever since all the various crusades around the world and as it probably always will be as long as the cancer that is religion exists. It's sad really, but there's not much to be done until we can completely separate ourselves from it. That probably won't happen for a couple of centuries though.

And, there we have it. All the responses here pretty much shows how divisive religion is. Just look at Vishnu.Reang's story. People insist that religion joins together mankind, forgetting that would only be possible with only one religion in charge, with only The One True Faith remaining. They forget how religion drives a wedge between people that otherwise would have no differences.

I'm a bit more pessimistic. I believe humans would still find a lot of things to go to war about like ideologies and ethnicity. Still, those are things  that you can have a discussion about. Is it true that so and so ideology will be better for mankind? Is this race/ethnicity or that really better  humans?

The first can be resolved with data, the latter can be with stuff like DNA testing, etc. With religious differences though, once someone shout out "COZ MAH GAHD SAID SO!" that's the end of the conversation. You cannot argue with that.

hahahahaha  Penis is a big problem for men. Also religion is very big problem for men and women. As you said they are connected with eachother. For women there are not many problems like mens have like penis and religion.

Don't take it in a literal sense and i agree there are people who don't want to hear about religious stuff cause i observe there are religious affiliated groups who are loud like speaking the word of god through a loud microphones and speakers.

This analogy makes perfect sense. Although we all have different religions, we must never force ones religion in other people. Each individual has their own rational understanding on whether where and what they want to believe in. Every human being can think for themselves and not rely on what others want them to think. Let us wake up in the midst of our own beliefs.

Well religion is established to comfort people because of the suffering that they encountered in life. It provide stability in the community. Religion is an institution that guides people in the right path by believing in their "God"

The fact that they use it to excuse the child abuse (see recent Roy Moore defenses) is why the first two statements are false. Willful ignorance is no longer something that we as a society should tolerate. It is constantly used to excuse despicable things and the only "benefit" that people can cite is that religion makes people feel better. You know what else made children feel better? Security blankets, but we tell them to grow the fuck up and mock any adult that would dare to bring a security blanket to work, why don't we do the same with these dangerous fairytales?

I think religion is every thing for us, without religion we are nothing. In the world people are divided only due to their faith. A building can't built by itself, like that a car also can't be driven by itself so then how the system of the world can be run by itself. More ever it depends on your religion and it thoughts. I am not point outing any religion or saying some other words about any religion. I respect all the religion because my religion teaches me this and yes I am proud to be a Muslim.
