0 fees doesn't mean it won't confirm. It is very easy for you to get a miner to mine it into a block for you or at least for you to rebroadcast it forever.

There's nothing useful you can do with unconfirmed BTC.

What the hell is the point of asking for bitcoins that may take months to confirm? It seems pointless to me. There's something sketchy going on here other than the obvious asking of 2 bitcoins with no collateral.

He meant that he wants loan with interest rate of 0%, which is not going to happen on this section because people are here to make business and not charity.
Also of course he did not offer any kind of collateral for the loan request, which is not a good thing (especially as a newbie with no trust).
Offer a valid collateral OP or lock the thread. Altcoins and some Physical items are valid collateral, of course escrow needs to hold such things.

Edit: Also cpfreeplz, we have had empty mempool for recent days. There has not been stuck transactions for more than 24 hours, if even that if i remember correctly. So why do you claim it will take months to confirm, when with a bigger chance it is confirmed quickly even if sending with 10sat/byte.

The time it takes for zero fees transactions to confirm varies. I have seen zero fee transaction included in blocks within 6 hours, it would be very risky to indulge the op.

I will tell you exactly what he tries to do if you think yourself you will find it out Wink

He tries to "sell" bitcoins to some newbie maybe who has no idea how confirmation works, in the hope that the buyer will send the funds without confirmation a classic scam like this you can find it here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1995625.msg19896666#msg19896666

Ineedfacs1 attempted the same to fool me for 25$ skrill but i am smart enough to see it's a never going to confirm output, scammers find new ideas each time to steal money on this forum.

We need to stop and reply to this topic, else someone will by accident teach him how to double spend or fake it.
