Great question frankkkkkkk.  We will be working hard to create value in the tokens.  Shared fate will motivate our team.  Engineers and staff will have tokens, themselves, locked into long term contracts, so it will be in their best interest to increase the value of the token.  If token holders win, so does everyone.

There are also two qualities of the token that will aid in increasing its value.
1.  Non-inflationary.  There's a static limit of tokens.  There will only be 50m ever produced.
2.  Demand Increase. based on industry.  As the drone racing industry expands, as the Token Series grows, more people will want tokens to participate, and tokens will be required.

Has this been vetted for legality in the US?  There's some fairly sticky regs surrounding fundraising and share ownership that makes ventures like this dangerous, as I understand it.

Cool idea regardless, also I think drone racing has some serious potential.

Excellent question.  We are carefully structuring ownership to avoid regulatory issues.  Ownership of a team is strictly within the confines of the MultiGP Token Series Platform.  Similar to ownership of an NFL or MLB team, we are not giving away ownership of MultiGP itself.  Instead, we are delegating key decision-making in specific areas to the "owners" within the platform (see the whitepaper for specifics). 

That being said, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a new frontier.  The technology is definitely outpacing the legal system.  Even though we have given a lot of thought to the structure of ownership within the Platform, it is very possible that we may need to rethink some of the elements in the future if the regulatory landscape changes.  Hopefully this won't mean stripping some of the features of ownership, but we can't deny that as a possibility.  If that happens, we are confident we can still shape the features of the Platform to offer a fan experience that is unparalleled in any other sport.
