I'd hold onto your wallets until further confirmation has been made. LOL

All I can see is a crappily rendered 3-D image of their device which has a disproportional USB sex organ.

God it's so easy to accept payment in crypto coins it's almost tempting to set up some "too good to be true" scam like this just to see how many suckers there are that send you coin.

I contacted them and asked for some kind of proof, eg. a video of a miner in action.
I don't expect to get any answer but will report back here.

Is it me or does it say that device can output 500GH/s?

Quick Math:

A normal usb port can output 5w
this device can apparently achieve  500gh/s

500/5 = 100

so in a perfect world where this not a scam and all of the targets are met this can achieve 100gh/w

Oh ok. I thought you were trolling but I didn't want to go to the site and check in case it had some dodgy viruses on it.

I'm just trying to get my hands on an ASIC miner,

They seem impossible to get one's hands on. BFL seem to be the only genuine company that is accepting orders however no one knows how long it will take to receive the miner. it seems I may have to wait half a year.

Are there any other options?

Got a rough estimate on how many pre orders you have taken?
How can you seriously benefit from selling these, you could mine 1.8 BTC a day with them
unless you take ages and the difficulty goes up like butterfly labs. forgive me but i wont trust anyone untill i see
proof of product and proof that customers have received their orders.

If i had no doubt that you were legit i would have already pre-ordered as many as i could!

Am I missing something? 2.2 Gh will only mine 0.1 BTC a day according http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ that means that ROI will be around 19 days but I am sure that the difficulty will increase long before you receive the miner so the ROI is more likely to be more than a month. No?

No, your completely right, I need to stop exaggerating sorrybut I still belive it would be more profitable to keep them if it only takes 18 days to make your money back?

I don't know much about wpamining but USB miners are real. In production any ways, from ASICMINER who has already proven themselves to deliver real products.

There are currently 2 USB powered mining devices that I know of. ASICMINER Block Erupter USB (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195004.0) and
Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196281.msg2040708#msg2040708). The ASICMINER USB is currently in production, while the Avalon USB is still in design. Check out the Custom hardware forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0) to join group buys to purchase units. You should always read all the terms of the group buy before committing to an order.

Happy mining,
QG
