Its quiet surprising for a Hero member do ask this thing when it comes to trading matter. Prices do really drops which is normal on cryptoworld we do see most reds and later on we do see mostly on green.Its just on alternate position no matter what would be the reason is since they are all volatile depending on the activity of its users and as of now i cant see any news related on going red on most coins.

Nothing new. It was just the same this past weeks. No specific reason/s but rather profit taking. It's normal indeed. It's good to see those reds as we can have an opportunity again to accumulate our preferred coins.

Don't mind finding the exact reason. It will just stressed you. Give it a shot and risk some funds now as once they turned green again, for sure you will regret.

Checking again history price in 2017, you can see the bullish trend starting in March and end in first week of June and now the bearish trend is starting, just still in between of begin and mid trend, maybe end August the trend will ending and recovery.

The same was the case happening from the past few weeks. In between some growth is happening with these coins. So this might be a time for correction for the entire crypts. Maybe from august things might happen in the opposite manner with high price pumping.

Yes, maybe another price correction is going on that's why all the coins are going red. We also see this last week of May and second week of June. Bitcoin price touch $2700 then the next day we see price corrections happening. I guess, the price will begin to rise around Aug 1 and will peak again and we may see it touching $3000. So now its just normal and this will last around 2-3 days, basing on the last two price corrections. Its just really unpredictable, but to pin point the exact reason's why, is not easy as it seems. But nothing to worry though.

the answer is the same as the answer i gave to people a couple of months back asking "why prices are going up?". it is all about the pump and dumps. when prices are going up everyone is happy and nobody cares that all these altcoins are going up for no reason (getting pumped) now they are getting dumped for no reason too, as the investors take their money out of them.

The holders are just taking their profit and maybe it is just happening in most of the alt-coin,

the answer is the same as the answer i gave to people a couple of months back asking "why prices are going up?". it is all about the pump and dumps. when prices are going up everyone is happy and nobody cares that all these altcoins are going up for no reason (getting pumped) now they are getting dumped for no reason too, as the investors take their money out of them.

Perfectly said now the investors are taking their profit and converting it to btc as the price in btc is low and all are expecting to rise high so automatically all altcoins will start to dump. This is what trading is done on profit booking.

Indeed my friend you speak the truth. I'm also happy to see those red and minus signals as they are good opportunity that invest money. I'm hoping that every coin will turn green later and by putting chunks in every coin can lead to versatile profit when it turns green. Who knows some of them will spike way beyond we think.

BTC falls slightly because the bull run preceding it was weak, based on little volume.  This is not significant, nor should it even be regarded as a correction unless it goes somewhat lower than this.

Other coins are just sheep, which move along with Bitcoin but get their price movements amplified by about fifty.

Hmm, now I also saw that the price of crypto has a considerable setback. But of all the sources that I usually use to find the latest information, there were no adverse signs of something for all users of the crypto. This is just a reasonable turnaround and can probably give you some advantages for those who are indeed doing the trading. It's a normal thing in crypto since miners and traders book their profits in order to reinvest it or to use the profita for their own personal uses. Every week there are miners dumping off coins to get in into a new coin or cover mining costs. Same with traders in order to give them more capital for their trades.

Yup! I couldn't agree with you more. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. And I'm sure some had taken advantage of the low prices and are just waiting for August 1st and see if it'll pump back. Anyways, good luck to those who bought the prices now. I'm not wasting my time going into one of each coins on why their prices are low now but most probably the reason might be because bitcoin is also low now. Just an opinion though.

Looks like general trading to me, stocks and "coins" can't just go up all the time. Unless something big is happening - it is usually kind of a "seesaw" movement.

The overall gains are hanging strong, if you ask me; maybe as we move toward Aug. 1, we sill see some panic moves, but this happens with stocks as well.

Last few weeks I am very much busy in my real life businesses. So I am not getting much time to follow crypto world.

I was feeling so tensed this evening when I saw the price of SiaCoin. Because few days ago I have invested some amount in SiaCoin.
I also asked for suggestion in their official thread yesterday regarding the price drop. But today price dropped much more than yesterday.

And then I noticed almost every coin in polo has a negative value... Almost all red.. Then I checked at coinmarketcap..... the result was same..

So I became curious to know what is happening exactly in crypto world...? Why almost all coins are red? So created this thread.

I am just undecided what to do with SiaCoin..
Put more investment to recover the loss from previous investment or wait till August 1. Just trying to look for answer.. I hope no one minds that...

Dumpers gotta dump bro, nothing new really you just need to have some strong hands to avoid dropping, you must be a newbie to be surprised like this.
If you are in crypto long enough you'll get the hang of it very fast, in big coins like BTC and ETH when price drops by 0.5% is when others start to panic and dump and in other coins when they drop by 2.5% it's the panic trigger, all you have to do is to relax and wait a few more days but when you have a weak hand none of these advises work for you, myself included.

You bought Siacoin?  Right after an absolutely gigantic pump, flying almost to number 10, when people were telling you it was going to be worth stupid amounts?  Really?

Well anyway, I hope you didn't lose too much and you've set your stop losses high.  IMO it'll go a similar way to how STR did after the pump instead of becoming completely irrelevant, but you really need to think about this stuff a bit more before investing.

You should read this thread.  Basically, miners are signalling their intention to support a scaling solution when they can (SegWit 2x), which would involve implementing SegWit soon and then a hard fork to 2MB blocks three months after that.

Some people are dumping pre-emptively, expecting an upgrade to Bitcoin to make altcoin hype subside.  Only time will tell if they're right.

I guess that's an effect of the panic of those people behind the crypto trading due to bitcoin's speculations circulating the web network, that's why more people do selling of their holdings. These types of crashing trends are not unusual for cryptocurrency world. This should be rather considered as a healthy correction. Now prices are being corrected to something more realistic. There is one more factor of sell wall. Investors have their accounts automatically set up to sell when it hits a certain price, and it takes the money out of this infrastructure. This thing happened a lot in previous month. Moreover, till Segwit implementation, there would be some uncertainty in prices because it as an major event going to happen to the most important cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. We're gonna see a lot of roller-coastering until Aug. 1.

Yes, i do understand your points since we do have our own busy life and we cant really know all things- sorry for that and it seems you do buy Siacoin on its pump which you can really think off on to sell those coins to cutlose and you entered to late on Sia. Diversifying on cope uping the lose is a good move but we should still be careful to avoid more loss. If i were you buy after August 1 event.

I agree that part of the changes happens mainly because of the fluctuations and decentralization where the movement of the stock in the market is changing. In fact before a development happens to bitcoin it would need a push through the user of bitcoin and the drop of price can give the signal to people to buy resulting for a balanced movement of the stock in the market. And that is the time that the vice versa would happen and the price will pump.
