I'm not a subscriber of Christianity, but I don't hate on anyone that is a subscriber, unless it affects others negatively (ie. priests that fondle little kids).  Even then, it's just the individual.  There are good honest empathetic people and assholes in any religion.

In the Bible, there's loads of stuff that contradicts the other stuff.  Homosexuality is "detestable", and the homosexuals involved will "surely be put to death" - yet everyone should love each other.  It doesn't really make any sense as a whole, so people start digging into their own interpretations of it.

Furthermore, unlike the Qur'an the Bible is not believed to be the exact or direct word of God, so it could be subject to human error.


This leaves many Christians believing in one side of Christianity and that they are "true" Christians, while the others believe in the opposite side and that they are "true" Christians.  When people can believe in a wide variety of different things and still be regarded as Christian, the whole point of being Christian starts to fade away, and there's no clear line for whether the religion is right or wrong.

Therefore, I'd say that I don't hate Christians, because even within their own religion they have some of the freedoms with their beliefs on social issues that atheists enjoy.

However, I feel that many of these Christians are not sure of what parts of the Bible they're believing in, and get a bit muddled up.  They believe in God, and culturally that makes them feel that they are Christians.  In the same way, a person who grows up in a Muslim family and believes in God feels that they are a Muslim.

I would rather that these people simply said that they are theists, but this is not an objection to what they actually believe, rather to how they express it.

I am indifferent to all religious sects. A person must choose his own way in life. And I do not have the right to hate someone, if our ways with him go in different directions.

No! I recognize myself as Christian, so why I would need to hate this religion? I'm not religious person, but I'm followin some Christian traditions.
And I don't hate any other religions and I don't see any reasons why we would have to hate it.

I don't like their fundamentalists, though not as much as that of Islam. As many people often say "It's safer to be Muslim in a Christian country than be Christian in a Muslim country".

There's no doubt Christianity can be as vile as Islam though by a twist of fate, Christianity somewhat watered down the violence from the old Israelite texts they appropriated. It also helps that Christians secularized their countries, further weakening whatever power the few nut job fundamentalists have.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Muslims.

Yup... a lot of Christians have told me that I will go to hell if I don't adhere to Christianity (I don't believe in god, but I identify myself as a Hindu). I have faced a lot of discrimination from the Christians, despite living in an overwhelmingly Hindu-majority nation. These people are forcibly converting poor Hindus by threatening to throw their children out of schools if they don't convert (most of the schools in my area are run by the churches).

No, I have no reason to hate Christians. I have a Christian friend and they are nice to me. When we were together, we did not talk about religion, we talked to each other as if we had no difference. If I hate, I hate the person, not the religion.

How can i hate Christianity when i am christian and how can i hate my own religion. However, there are many people who hate Christianity for many reasons. One of the reasons could be that some christians try to convert other people into Christianity. This happens mostly in india which i feel is not fair. These people also get convenience because of there poverty and given some help in terms of finance so that they will convert. I can truly tell that these people dont get converted truly.

No, I indifferently refer to all religions. I see no reason to hate anyone except that he professes Christianity or another religious trend. Everyone should have freedom of choice in the confession.

Depends on the flavor of Christian, there are plenty who believe the bible is the actual word of god.

I've heard about more Muslims being assaulted/murdered in America than Christians being murdered in all of the middle east... and this is coming from American news, which I assume would be biased towards Christians

Muslims don't go out attacking Christians... this is a common misconception that Christians have...

Muslims are murdering other Muslims... imagine if the Catholics and Protestants were at war with each other... would either of them care about Muslims, or would they care more about the other Christians who are trying to kill them?

Do Bloods and Crips care about Muslims, or do they care about other Bloods and Crips killing them?

The problem with Christians is they have a victim complex, and want to feel like they are being attacked, so they can go on the offensive and preemptively nuke another country

OP what if I'd said that I do, what would you do then dude nothing so why are you asking? you should note that not all of them are true Christians only a few, those who believe Jesus went to heaven before some one else dies in his instead and he only was a messenger of God.
