Holidaymakers Turn to Bitcoin to Beat Beach Inflation

A growing number of citizens living in economically and politically troubled countries are turning to Bitcoin and other digital curries, FOX News reports. Citizens of countries such as Venezuela and India have lost faith in their local currencies and seek refuge in the digital currencies such as Bitcoin, DASH and others, as their local currencies gradually decrease in value.

wonder who is going for holidays to Venezuela or India nowadays
as for Venezuela, yes due to the ongoing orange revolution in the country, mass protests and rapidly growing inflation
people tend to keep their money in bitcoins, but India is differnet-it's economy is much more stable
people of India do not like paper money, especially after the surprise banknote exchnages by the goverment
it doesn't mean they are turning to bitcoin en masse, some of them do and due to the fact that there >1 bil people living there it looks like India experiences a bitcoin boom
and thats why India is pondering bitcoin legalisation

India's demonetization really put the citizens to go to other alternatives specially bitcoin. The government want to clean Rupees, however, I don't know if the imposed demonetization has ended. I'm sure no one is going to Venezuela because of the ongoing crisis. Maybe this scheduled vacation has lead to some people selling their bitcoin that's why we are seeing some price dumps starting May. They want to cash out and enjoy holiday vacation.
