The price has actually increased if you see it was around $2200 and I'm pretty happy i had bought some at that price. Buying bitcoins now is surely a good idea but storing would take a long time to double instead what you can do is buy a few eth as eth will take less time to double than bitcoin.

And I think that will be the reason why it would pump up again since the demands would be high.

This time more investment could have come into bitcoin, but the august 1 has created a fear among the investors. This Keeps the price in a sustained manner without much forward or backward variation in the price of bitcoin. I think the next price jumping might happen only after 1st of august.

It can always happen the big dumps and I think it is just coincidental that most people would go dumping simultaneously, this is really outrageous when we are hoping that the price would go up, But I think most people are just feeling whether the price would go up or down because they are earning this way by dumping if the price is up and buying when it goes down, repeating process to accumulate much earnings.

It will always be a safe haven for us if bitcoins price will always be at $2,500. But the price now has decreased a $100 already. We saw the price reached $2,600 and now it is at $2,501. Hope that this will lead to next pump.

The market has been moving within a certain range for quite some time now. I don't think we'll see anything change in that regard. Main point of importance is that the market, community, potential investors, etc, all are waiting for how everything will play out when it comes to the activation of SegWit, and which proposal will walk out as winner. No pump until it's clear what's going to happen -- in the meanwhile, these repetitive price movements lend themselves perfectly for traders to use them in their advantage.

i think the price is too much stable for last few weeks. i think people are now a little cautious to buy bitcoin, but still they are not even interested to sell their bitcoin. i am sure that they will continue holding bitcoin tell 1st August and after that they will be thinking about to start buying again, but at that time bitcoin will be really shootup too high.

i hope that we can see the price is going to go up soon after the down trend in last weeks. but i think every traders is waiting until august 1, so many of them that gets panic and its makes the price go down. i hope that after august 1, the price will increase more high so the altcoin will following to increase too.

So had you bought some? If are able bought bitcoin at $2,460 the price now went up back to $2,540. There's almost 80$ profit, when the price is getting lower it is just a chance for holder to buy some more because it will make the price higher again. So whales are benefiting on this.

Yesterday the price had dropped at $2400 and it seems at the time of dropped that there are some people who panic selling even I see someone my friend on facebook there who says "bitcoin freefall" and I say "freefall has not happened, bitcoin price will still be maintained at $2000 ". Lol, and now we can see for yourself the price keeps moving at $2500.

Price seems to be stabilizing around the value of $2500 for a long. This adds a resistance to the price increase which is expected to happen within certain time, once after the ongoing segwit activation. Now currently the price seems to stagger between the limits of $2500 - $2650 till the month end.

I seriously don't know what is it with you guys and this small price fluctuations  I am pretty much aware of the fact that even a single buck change could effect in millions, 16.5M if price drops by $1 then in this situation $16.5M dollars could be gone but that's just the potential figure.
Not everyone is willing to sell all their coins that with only $1 drop or rise. bitcoin is no longer a good option for micro transactions and or penny earnings, someone who wants to pay someone else an amount equal to $5M and doesn't want to use the banks and have the transactions in governmental and their legal records instead he uses bitcoin, he buys $5.2M and losing $200K is nothing for him compared to the time when he would've wanted to try any bank transfer because simply they would've marked the money as illegal and he'd lost all of it instead of $200K.

Bitcoin is a good tool for such businesses and not for third world poor countries to earn their living from it.
