It may be the very good way of teaching them how to save their assets like money and i think not just that. Bitcoin may also help them on who to be patient, how to take risk in a smart way, and of course how to be dependent the moment they know how to earn bitcoins as to trading or any sort of earning chunks of it (BITCOIN).

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

It is not about saving , learning about blockchain technology itself is great thing ,as we know it is future as we should encourage kids to learn it.second is that kids can earn money through cryptocurrency by earning it through forum or from  doing freelancer.it is always good to enlighten them with bitcoin and altcoin so that they can aware what is going to come in future and they dont regret it not knowing at childhood.
I do not think you should teach your kids about how to earn bitcoin, teach them about saving and teach them about the value of money by paying them a small sum for a small task you want them to do, like mowing your lawn or something, but kids need to be kids and to not worry about adult stuff like earning money too soon or that may hinder their development

Its nice from me, Yes its difficult to teach kids about bitcoin but there are few students or kids that can cope up easily on what we just give to them. I think it is the right thing to do for them to learn on how to save money, learn on suppy and demand. There are to instances that I choose, to say I agree and not because kids needs to be kids, I agree on you, kids uses internet to get money is illegal, But I just want choose Yes too for them to learn something on supply and demand. Thats why I choose YES and NO.

So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

I dont think so, saving if one of rge essential that a peraon must apply, you dont have to know bitcoin to start saving, it just that saving here in bitcoin is more substantial than  in real life when you save here in bitcoin the chances that you can gain triple from your money is possoble while in real life saving from your pocket doesnt change tge value.

Yes I think teaching them about bitcoin would also be a way of teaching kids how to save because it is for long term. And ita easier to explain to them and make them understand because its a digital currency.

bitcoin will teach kids not just savings but also the kids will see the graph and the movement of it in the market i think most children will have a skill in trading too .. you just need to expose them .

Yes it would help them but why destroy their childhood with making them save for later they are still children and need o focus on other things like playing outside or games with their friends and not start learning how to trade and save crypto currency.

>mining
>making a lot of Bitcoin
oh boy son

If anything, in order to encourage better spending habits, they should have been required to save some money for toys they wanted to buy as a kid instead of buying everything for them. I don't know if this is something that was tried on them but it worked on me growing up. Bitcoin is just another means of wealth and it doesn't really encourage saving that much for most people who maintain their own finances, in whatever way that may be.
I think it is good. But for teaching bitcoin in kids doesnt make any sense. Theyre too young for this kind of business they should playing outside of their home making their childhood memorable.

I think that it can be a useful tool for sure and more of a way to educate them in passive income than in saving, given bitcoins upward trend it is more of an investment to many than 'saving'

Since they are still kids, there are lots of other ways that you can encourage them to save money. I think, it is hard to encourage them by introducing bitcoins because it might be hard for them to understand it. But it all depends on what approach you will give them, make them learn and become rich at a young age.

I don't think bitcoin is a good way to teach kids about saving.
The value of bitcoin changes too much every day. It's hard to tell a child why the same thing costs a different amount of bitcoins avery day.
What can be taught with bitcoins are psychology (panic when the price is falling) and things concerning economy.
But I would not say these are things to teach children. It's more something for young adults.

I think if youre going to teach bitcoin to kids, you will have a hard time because that kind of topic is not for them. Kids always want to have fun and play and they dont have time for that kind of serious thing. Bitcoin is for those people who want to earn their own money to sustain their daily needs.
I agree with you. there is no point teaching kid about bitcoin in this momemt because they are still young. We should let them play and enjoy their good time. The more they know about money, the more deceive they will become. Keep them far away from money and bitcoin is the best idea. Maybe when they grow up, they will know what bitcoin is

Thank you Wink
Yeah it is best idea to work on and then you will be making a generation that will knows about bitcoin even in this age. Later on, when in their adult time bitcoin will be leading the international market then they will be the leading traders of the time if they would keep their interest in it. I think in schools, there must be some briefing about bitcoin as it is the future.

Kids ought to first learn about conserving and then on bitcoins.
Kids have a lot of ability to pick new things in the good ways and this will be more useful for the kids to teach them about bitcoin because this innovation is their era thing and this will help them in future to survive because in their future cash will not be used and everything will be digitalized so schools must start this coin teaching as subject and this will produce the best and successful bitcoin user in future.

In my own point of view i think yes. This would truly help kids think about saving. They will be able to know how to wait patiently when saving their own money. The best thing about it is that while they wait they would eventually think their money is getting bigger. That is if they learn about bitcoin. We all know the standing of bitcoin in our present economy. It has the highest exchange rate compared to other currency in the world. This is actually very nice since it is more profitable when you save bitcoin rather than saving it in a bank which has fixed charge. So meaning if kids nowadays learn about bitcoin they would definitely learn how to save because sooner they will have bigger amount of money to get.

Yes it  can really really help more importantly the third world countries and other country that has a  high poverty rate on the lqst years. It can help because kids dont have huge expenses yet and has a good grasp of money that they dont urge to spend so much of it if you teach them how to control yourself.

I think it would teach bitcoin about the importance of money. However, the problem is that, bitcoin is very complicated for kids to understand. It took me sometime to completely understand the concept of bitcoin. I am still learning about bitcoin so I guess bitcoin is really complicated to understand.
Nope it is not that much complicated. Kid’s minds are very sharp nowadays and they will learn bitcoin easily and after that they will surely chose bitcoin as a proper field to work in, this step will be the first step toward the digital world so this program must be started as it will people choice to send their kids to learn bitcoin and chose right and profitable field for them and btc will deliver good profit in this mode.

How old are your cousins? If i may ask. You didn't mention. If they are of very young age, will they be able to understand anything about bitcoin. However you explain it to them, it will be like talking in air. Literally. Nobody listens. Save your breath.
But if they are of age, then it's another thing. Talking them to learn about bitcoin and explaining with keenness will probably give you a fruitful reward. Show them what bitcoin is capable to do and what they can accomplished if ever they decide to start saving on bitcoins.
