Altcoins are all down, so how do traders make their earnings?

These is also my experience. In almost 2 years of trading.  So this is my advice to you never sell your holding and wait for the up. Its normal in trading  that you will be trap in negative portfolio all you need is patience. this is the best example  bitcoins drop 1,900$ and quickly recover in 1 week  so you have now profit 700$ of you have  1Bitcoins that's  is how trading works. Trading is not a daily earning sometimes you lose but when you have patience it will recover fast. I always say that on all my friend that want go on trading.

I agree with you most of the Altcoins are down but I would suggest you to hold it do not sell it on loss when market will bounce back your all coins would be in green its all about matter of patience you have, I would suggest you to always invest in top 10 alt coins.

Value of alt coins is pegged to bitcoin value. I saw that when bitcoin soared today to 2925 high alt coins most of them even the prominent ones were down. I believe there is something attached to what a satoshi value means to a dollar and like wise the interest comes into various alts. This is what I have seen. Now when the markets stabilize is when one sees the alt coin edging to somewhat a proper kind of a hedged position. Now bitcoin being higher makes purchases of alts more expensive as the satoshi value has increased. Like wise if a fall in bitcoin dramatically changes the scenario of ur holdins even if u see ur alts much higher than ur purchase price. In exceptional cases if some alts have gone up by 200 or 30% is when u actually can say u r in real profit..

You will learn more soon. It is not necessary that all new traders have to experience it all so it is better to equip ourselves with knowledge. Last year this is the same situation, most in the crypto market went down too. Ghost month is coming and Segwit drama is not yet over. Trade with caution in a bear market.

Traders make there earning by buying when the price is down and sell when the price is up. This is what professional do for profit! If you want to really make money like professional you have to do what professional are doing.

Now all altcoins are recovering, and Bitcoin price is also recovering. Those who bought the coins last week means when the price was down now they can make double profit. Becasue all altcoins almost increased 50%. The Profesional traders will wait and make a profit. If you don't have patience, you will never make a profit in trading.

You should sell out that holding and wait for the market to regain its value. Currently market is red due to split that is going to happen in August. However the good news is bitcoin and coins will be recovering soon enough as was experienced yesterday with recovery phase. For now do not do any trades or you may wanna buy a coin at this point because you will get bigger profits once it start moving into green zone.

That’s what is going to happen in coming months. Indeed, it is the best time to buy bitcoins but not to sell them off. Selling now will be an idiotic move. Im a noob and suggest other noobs to just stay the fuck away from trading if your not an expert in such bearish times. I thought i could be mr. wise guy and and make profits if i switch from btc to altcoins and so on, but i would have made much less loss if i just hodl my starting portfolio. Anyway, learned my lesson and now holding my alt- and shitcoins and hope for the best.

If you do not know what you are doing then it is better to stay away from trading, when you are losing money the most important thing is to hold, if you sell, you are confirming your losses, if you hold then when the price goes back to normal your investments will return to normal as well.

I sold some of my bitcoins from $USDT at 2800  and 2600. Now I am relaxing waiting for Bitcoin to dump and rebuy it at the dip after August 1.

If I were you, hold it when not needed. The bitcoin will recover its price soon more than its price now. Many traders here are holding it because the bitcoin is volatile and decentralized while the price fluctuates, sometimes decreased and increased its price. So, hold it I will assure you that it will double the price someday. Don't be worried!

Well  im advise to you just buy the fucking dip price if u have left btc on your wallet do not sell ur losses just control ur emotion..  Just make a plan how to profit again during the red tide...

I have option but this is a risky sell low buy low if u doing this just u need a little technical analysis if u feel the market still dumping just follow sell direct and wait Buy again to a next support lvl.. Gudluck

All movements does really matter and as a trader we would really see this as an opportunity for us to buy cheaper coins which we would know that later on it would rise up its price and then we can able to generate profits on such movements. Yes , it is great time for us to make profit and take advantage with these dums if you know how to play with it its much better but if not stay on hold buy in cheap price and wait until it reach again its new ATH or when the market is good going..

This is the primary and simple strategy of doing successful trading. If you really want to play safe in crypto trading; hold on to your precious coins when prices are going in the red zone area on the graphs.  Never ever sell when bitcoins are losing value. That’s just for short time period. Soon the prices start pumping; you are going to feel really unfortunate for selling off coins.

I will not call the people that do that traders, they are speculators it may seem like the same but in my opinion, they are different, those that are looking to get huge earnings because they think a coin is going to pump are not basing their judgment on anything but hopes.

i think there are a lot of good potential altcoin from where one cam make good profit although their price may be down right now but in future when people will stat taking interest there then its price will start increasing.

When altcoins are down, its the best way to buy altcoins and when it pump and reaches to the higher or highest level it's the right time to sell your altcoins,  that is how traders make more earnings.
