ISSUE WITH OLD BITCOIN-QT ON MAC

“Hi, i have been receiving your emails for while now thank you. I have an old mac with my bitcoin wallet on it using an old version of bitcoin-qt – i can’t update it because my OS is too out of date. I want to transfer my wallet to my new mac running on a current OS.. i have a bunch of dat files ect but i don\’t know what to do.. i also make the mistake of resetting the settings on my old wallet and now my balance is gone.. how can i solve this?”
