OK folks it seems all alts are going down for some time and going down pretty good... is this the start of the bubble popping? It was expected to happen sooner or later.

Nice to see how people call this a correction but it might be a huge one.

I agree but I do not know what is the deepest dump it can go. I If we know its already the deepest dump. we can start buying then since this is an opportunity to have a good profit. But it seems the support is on the observation mode  until the segwit 3x will be implemented.

Corrections don't fall this big.
Like you said it is a big one and it will be hard to recover from this.
I guess it will be our support with our own invested coins will be the answer to bring it back.
For now, I am still on hold with my altcoins and just letting it be.
Besides, there is no profit even if I withdrew it.

I think its somewhere between a correction and a crash. The alts that lack any real value will fall more than the good ones which will recover slowly but surely.

No, this is not the start. the start happened a while ago (mostly about a month ago) where the first drop from top began. now you are just seeing that same process at a higher speed.
- at first the whales dump and the rest of the experienced traders follow by selling and getting out. at this time newbies become back holders.
- then more newbies come in and start buying thinking they got lucky to be able to buy "cheap" altcoins.
- then more dump happens and the second group also becomes bag holders.
- the final step before the doom is now. when another dump comes and all the two previous bag holders give up hope and start selling their bags contributing to an even bigger dump. some people call this panic sells! but in  case of altcoins i like to call it a late awakening.

I'm a newbie since may and this is so right...

I did already left the ship (break even).. First I went from altcoins to LTC and BTC but I sold this as well for USD... Do not have the balls to HODL..

IMO this going a lot further down and there will be a way better opportunity to buy in again then just holding.. Should not have listened to all those bag holders and sold the whole portfolio when I had the feeling a couple of weeks ago...

Oh well... It's been a good lesson...

Good time as a cleansing process for all the coins got pumped for no obvious reason or substance.
It is pretty a good timing for bear as there is not much exciting news around that time. But this is not forever. Aug is coming.

Bubble popped a couple weeks ago.  Don't remember the exact date offhand...I did post a chart or two around the time it happened.  I didn't get out at the top but did get out at confirmation of the pop and went around 90% cash at that time.  I didn't do everything right but did quite well.

Sounds about right but i pay little attention to market prices.
The reality is a lot of people showed up buying far too many different coins inflating prices to obscene levels.

I kept telling these guys unless the crowd showing up continues to keep growing it will slow and crash.

If you don't have a larger and larger mob of new users running in here you fail.
So it's like they have to keep doubling each month to sustain the prices.
Or buyers dry up and the prices stall and tons take their profit which shifts momentum..
Then the recession ends up smacking idiots hard.
