Exodus Wallet Exchange Charges

  My goodness, what a reap off. I just exchanged 7USD BTC to LTC to demonstrate to a friend. I got charged 3USD. What the f?? I use Shapeshift on Coinomi wallet as well. The most I have been charged is a 1USD.

Indeed, you are right I should have. I also listened to an interview of one of the founders on YouTube. He explained why Exodus is so expensive. Fortunately they are working on advanced features to make the transaction costs less. On other wallets like coinomi a user has an option of choosing how urgent they want the transaction to be. For instance if you choose not urgent, your confirmation can happen in 4 hrs whilst if you choose urgent it will happen in 20min max. Exodus doesn't have this feature, transactions are almost immediately. That is why they are so expensive.
