I also believe that WHALES can move the markets in their favor. If you can get all the other traders to where YOU want them to be and you get the desired result in a certain altcoin or even Bitcoin market, then I believe only a whale can do that. So although everyone has a different view on how much a whale needs to have to be a whale. Market manipulation is what whales do best.

I mean come on no one really knows what whale is really? I meanI don't know either but Im thinking its not a person with big money. Whale must be or has got to be big organisation or an entity with billions of dollars invested into different crypto assets or say bitcoin. With its sell and buy it can shook the base of bitcoin price and influence it accordingly. Thats what I think. Any discussion please open up. Thanks.

I think a whale is actually more like a unicorn.

They don't really exist, or at least they don't exist in the way that people talk about them here. Why are these 'whales' risking millions of USD worth of Crypto to move the markets, so that they can maybe, hopefully make a few percent.  I think mass hysteria is the real reason that the market swings quickly, then recovers, not whales.

The whole pump and dump stuff might be started by individuals or groups, but they just start the ball rolling and let the idiots move the market further.
More or less, that`s my opinion as well..
It`s huge risk, needing huge investment and still price fluctuation may not be correct enough, enough for profit..

A little whale has 300 btc, big whales has 1000 btc or more approximately.
That is not a whale.
Whale is someone who can shake and make whole market very unstable, cause panic sells, make big pumps etc.

We hear whales' influencial actions everyday..
Who is considered whale in crypto world? How big capital is needed to be considered whale? How they coordinate with each other to influence coins?
what more concrete we know about them?

It depend, if a coin have 1million marketcap and you have 100 thousands worth then you a whale. If you have 100 thousands worth with a coin which have 50million marketcap then you is not a whale.

Hard to say for me but I’m guessing that whales are just with big fat wallets and group of people working together.

I think if you can get all the other traders as to where you want it then they become you will get the desired result in a specific altcoin or even Bitcoin market, I believe the only whales that can do this. So even though everyone has different views on how many whales that need should be the great whales.
