I was impress with the post on this poll. The date seems long time before and now it is rrally above 10x.

I thought this thread is bumped by a newbie or some sort of shit poster but then I confirmed the OP bumping his thread again to talk how the price is very different from what he speculated in 2017.

Im wondering after 3 more years again we can see a 100k bitcoin price but in my opiniom its hard to move like that especially when the market investors are really into defi hype now. Another reason that they probably bitcoin is not improving much due to scattered investors whom also prefer to earn from altcoins instead buying bitcoin.

I'm trying to be optimistic at all times, as possible as I can get but thinking bitcoin at $100k? uhh, it's a no no still for me but hope is not lost tho. Seeing this thread made from 2017 made me realized how things got different now, from $100 to $1000 to $2000 and now here we are at near $12k as of the moment. Bitcoin does not need to improve, the way I see it, it seems okay to me given that this is the first born coin in the market with so much reputation in it making it the highest grossing coin in the market. Bitcoin has nothing to show anymore to us, it will just increase naturally as we speculate.

Undoubtedly in Bitcoin, the reason is simple, when we are clear about the type of safe investment we just have to put the money there and wait, that is what should be done when investing, any cryptocurrency apart from bitcoin can be a good option The bad thing is that any cryptocurrency will always depend on the movement of Bitcoin, since they do not have a life of their own, bitcoin does.

If you are referring for Long term holding at least 1 year or more?i will choose any of the available price but for now the Highest value to choose is 10,000$ things that maybe impossible to attain since the price of Bitcoin already Hype to more than 11,500.

Better to decide Buying at any chance now before the Bull run starts because if does?then you aill regret why took long time to decide and maybe late for the run.

 the said amount is freakin huge and there are more worthy coins that im more confident with .  with 10k dollars it wont be that hard for us to get an entry point , we can even start now if let say we will invest in btc .

If I had $ 10,000 I would invest in Ethereum immediately. We all know Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon and the bitcoin halving is complete. Therefore, in the future, there will be no doubt that the value of BTC will increase and so will the top coin. In addition, when you invest in coin top your risk is much less than investing in altcoins with low marketcap. If you invest in ETH, I recommend holding in the long term it is better, maybe it will return to the old peak.

Yes, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most reliable and profitable investments for cryptocurrencies. Even if the price of currencies fluctuates there is a possibility of a lot of increase. I would also choose these two currencies to invest in cryptocurrencies and be willing to buy at a lower price. If the price goes up then it will be easier to make a profit.

Are you still expecting that the price will dip below $8000? If that happens then it indicating that the short term uptrend already snaps and it is now transitioning into downtrend. The price will not dip at that level so do not expect that will happen because we are now in bullish market. This market is full of opportunities where we can make money by just holding.

For those who are not used to trade cryptocurrencies actively, I prefer to them to just do trend following. But be sure that you will buy in tranches. What do I mean by tranches? It is like pyramiding where you will buy bitcoin every breakout and not all in for you ro manage your risks very well.

If I have a capital of $ 10,000, of course I will make good use of it. To be sure $ 8000 I will buy Bitcoin when the price hits

Dude bitcoin is current trading at $11600 and for it to go 10x would mean that bitcoin should trade at $116k.
And you are asking if it could reach that price in the next 6 months?
The straight answer would be NO.
Bitcoin will first have to cross the ATH price at $20k and after that it will see another major correction and I don't think all of that would happen just in the span fo 6 months. So to go 10x again there is a long way ahead of bitcoin.

You are really right that in the next six months we will not be able to reach 20k indicators, but nevertheless, if we take into account the indicators of 2013 and 2017 in the context of the halving results a year after the event, then if we adhere to the forecasts based on these historical data, we can only expect a year after the 2020 halving of the real Bitcoin rally in the market.

Now don't get me wrong this doesn't mean that all proof of stake coins are good, look at the rankings and you will see that there are not that many out there making everyone rich suddenly, obviously proof of stake itself alone is not something that makes you profit.

However consider it this way, ethereum is the second biggest coin in the world right now just after bitcoin and there will be no more miners selling ethereum to cover for mining costs, shouldn't that really make the price go higher?

I am not sure if the increase for that is already calculated in or if it is too long away for such a thing but I would say do at least 50% eth and 50% btc, if not even more for eth.

Technically, we should buy when we feel the price is lowest. But it rarely happens as the price goes down after we buy and then we panic. The solution to this is never just stop investing no matter the time and condition of the market or the price of trading commodities or crypto. Just keep on investing as in the long term, the price is bound to grow!

Ethereum is good but still it is risky if we will put all that money in one coin, I always telling that diversification is important because it helps us to manage risks. If I have that I will diversify it in 4 investment which are: 25% in bitcoin, 25% in eth, 25% in XRP and  25% in BNB. All of the coins that I mentioned are now in uptrend which means that the price is gradually increasing and there is a guarantee of winning as long as the uptrend will not snaps.
If we are talking in terms of entry points, for me the risks will be lessen if you will open a market order near at the support level because there is a high chance that it will bounce and make a swing high but you should put a stop loss beyond the support level in order to prevent huge losses.

I am agree with you that investment on eth is very good decision at this stage. The price of eth is near hand and after some days, it will be growing so fast and will hit a big price.

Ethereum staking thing is not possible with this, when you want to buy 32 ethereum you have to spend it is just a bit higher at around 12-13k range right now, if it goes down a bit more at least you would get something and you could stake it. However that would require a bit more if it keeps going up, that way everyone who has built a staking node would make a profit as well.

So, right now it is not really a bad idea to buy 26 or so ethereum right now, and whatever you need to make to earn the rest of it which wouldn't be too hard, just 6 ethereum left, I am sure whoever made 26 ethereum investment could somehow manage to make 6 more ethereum over the course of some months as well, it is a lot of money but totally worths it when you want to own one good staking node.
