There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I don't know if it is the "best" but Myetherwallet can send and receive tokens (not all i think) https://www.myetherwallet.com/
Create a wallet and see which tokens is used in. You will see on the left "show all tokens" or something like this

I must suggest that use like exodus desktop wallet to make an eth address and save the private keys of it somewhere's safe and just use myetherwallet.com to send some tokens just make sure that you use the original site since there are some clones and phishing site of myetherwallet.

Regarding to your choice, scenarios can be different. But, personally I can feel confident to say that, myetherwallet will remain safe as you control it with your private key which offer you store ERC20 tokens. Alternatively, After a review of The Best Ethereum Wallets you can use Ledger Nano S, Mist etc.

There is no any other wallets out there than myetherwallet.com for ETH based tokens but if you want to store ETH and other few alts in one wallet than you can try jaxx wallet.

Till now i am using MEW (https://www.myetherwallet.com/) and found it easy and safe. But a lot of hackers already hacked mew using of phishing site. so why i also scared about MEW. Will you tell me about exodus desktop wallet? I am not aware about it. where can i found the details about this wallet? If i stored my private key safely,is it possible to hack my account (exodus desktop) I will be glad if you PM me about it.thank you.

Here you can view all details of exodus in this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1766679.0 tho its not their ANN thread as an official but its informative.
Since I'm using exodus desktop wallet also for receiving ETH tokens, and I only paste it on myetherwallet to send with tokens as what I've said on previous post. And there's no way that someone can hack your private keys there, except if you don't secured device where you installed the software.

Actually, any ETH address can accept tokens, ETH tokens are stored on the blockchain, but like everyone here is saying, MEW will also allow you view and send those tokens (as far as I know anyway). You can still view tokens/assets stored at each address with https://ethplorer.io.
