This nonsense is constantly repeated.
Average 10 day volume peaked Jan 23 at about $2.8 million and, now, 6 weeks later is down 65% at about $1 million...

At the moment everything is down at crypto compared to a few weeks ago, and so the volume (in Dollar) on the exchanges. But if you compare CB with other exchanges it doing really well. Have a look at at https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
CB is always in the top 110 - 90 on the uptrend. Not bad for a young in beta DEX like CB. In my opinion CB should be at least in the top 50, when I see what horrible exchanges with kyc limits, closed registrations, crazy fees for adding new coins and questionable coin delistings are listed there Roll Eyes
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I just completed my test run of staking 10 BCO for 30 days. I was able to get 2 payouts comprised of about 90 different coins in very small fraction portions.

When I "claimed" my own coins after the 30 day period I was charged 0.55 BCO. That is a rediculous amount.

Maybe if you staked 1000 coins it would work out. But small amounts you will be losing money.

...users and volume grow monthly, and so do the staking payouts.

This nonsense is constantly repeated.

From my perspective as a trader there is no reason to expand trading on CryptoBridge beyond 10 minutes/day.

Also, the profits were made by traders that did NOT stake, but sold into the ridiculous pump to $200 million cap (so I'm happy)...
Seem familiar? Yes, it's almost identical to the insane STEEM Pump of mid-2016.

Polo sold for $400 million and were doing about $150 million/day...
So if Polo sold for 3x daily volume... that puts CryptoBridge value in the $3-10 million range.

Measuring volume on Cryptobridge should not be done by USD. It should be measured in BTC considering that is the majority pair on the exchange. Your argument that the volume nearly halved when being measured in USD is because Bitcoin also halved compared to USD.

I thought that when staking you would also receive BCO not just the small fractions from trading pairs??

Also would like to add that volume has dropped off all exchanges, BCO seems to be no different

Any way of recovering coins from cryptobridge? I had a hard drive failure but did have a backup, however the re-install is not taking my password. I'm a bit confused by this as I used the same password for multiple trades.
Is there a wallet.dat file or something similar for this?

Many thanks

First time I stacked BCO I paid something like 14 BCO.

Users need to be warned about the stacking fees, when stacking small amounts for a small period of time it will be a loss.

Yes, there is a file, you need to upload it in RESTORE and then your password will work.

I used the Mac app and did not make a backup. Is this file generated automatically like a wallet.dat?

I noticed the same. Ideally you stake a larger amount of BCO's and for a longer period. It's also not ideal to stake several instances but better stake the whole bunch in one go. I think in the end (as CB is growing) it should become very profitable. In that case also the BCO's value increases... a double edged sword so to speak.

All of CBs volume is not tracked on Coin Market Cap since not all pairs are listed by CMC. Use http://www.cryptobridgestats.com/ to see the daily volume much more than 1 million

Zer0Sum is still on CryptoBridge it seems. Remembered your initial FUD posts back in the early days.   Unlike a lot of exchanges that engage in wash trading CryptoBridges volume is organic and will continue to grow.  Lets revisit this post in the next 3 months and see where the volume lands

Are you joking? The hole calculation is open. You are able to calculate with the daily traffic from the exchange. So it is very easy to calculate your rewards. The staking fees are very clear too. The fees atm are about 0,2 BCO. That is not much, if you stake ~1000 or more BCO.

That's not a problem for me, I do the math before spending any money, but many new users may have trouble finding the information easily available.

I got it wrong, my first stacking position cost 27.3142665 BCO.

Next payout on the 15th.

bi-weekly, twice a month or every 15 days.
You can see in your account when you got the last rewards. 15 days from it. The payout is independent from your staking position. If you stake only three days before the next payout, you receive a proportional payout.

Is it common for CB to take coins out of their selection? I have not logged into the system for a long time, and decided to forget the whole thing for a year, but I have noticed from Twitter that CB tweets quite often about coins that should be moved out from the exchange. Obviously, the amounts I havereceived through staking are so small that I do not believe it is worth moving them out. Have anyone here taken out their coins?

I sold MYCE and NIHL, yes.

This is an ever changing environment we need to be active to cease the opportunity.

Same here. It's a question about picking up a quarter from the streets or not... I sold both coins.
