august 3rd too. I am not afraid and I think it's also a positive change but what about the chain split issue saying bitcoin will be two? segwit is a troubleshooter for users who find the bitcoin transaction feels long and expensive.

This is actually at the back of our thinking since the idea of a coin split came up. There had been a precedent in the case of Ethereum so many of us can be assuming that the same thing and the same scenario would happen with Bitcoin once there can be a fork thing.

However, I still believe that there would no coin split as many Bitcoin leaders are not supporting such a move and that it is in the interest of the miners to preserve the current gains of Bitcoin. Allowing split is just like killing the very source of income they have.

We should tell these people to please do what can be the best for Bitcoin and the many small holders/users and not just think about their own selfish interest and concerns.

This is simple, really not hard to understand, there are 2 groups in this community: 1- people that will slowly move on from Bitcoin because they can't use it to their benefits, these kinds of people will come as newbies forever nothing could be done about it, they'll come and stay for a while and then disappointment with a few thousands of shit posts around with some drama and end of story finish.

2-The people currently in this community and are here to stay no matter what happens, because it's more of a hobby than serious investment life & death situation, they have enough money to not get burned, even if they be left alone with 5% of their wealth still could live like kings and queens for the rest of their lives, fortunately these kinds of people will keep coming as newbies and will keep the system going.

We cant be sure if it wont really affect the price of bitcoin and yet we dont still have clue if it would be activated or there would be a split or not. Im liitle bit nervous on this event since i dont really like for bitcoin to be splitted but for the sake of improvement i would gradually accept it since we dont have no choice thats why i still secure my bitcoin on my wallet as of now.

There is no need to panic and spread fear of this date, Bitcoin will stay as the most powerful and used crypto currency even if the price drop down for some time after the 1st August. Personally I don't think there is great things will really dropping down the bitcoin's price in the nearest future at least.
