simpleENS

simpleENS allows you to send ETH to friends and family using a human readable DNS-style name, such as john.eth.

Thousands of ETH has been lost using the Ethereum Foundation's ENS.

So simpleENS has decided to create a simpler and safer ENS.

No Auctions, no complicated procedure.

Simply check that a name is available and purchase it.

That's it.

simpleENS also allow you to register TLDs - such as, .vitalik, .mylastname etcetera.

Whereas, the Ethereum Foundation's ENS restricts TLDs to .eth and .test - which means you can never truly have the name you want.

Security

UPDATE: Users can now scan a QR-Code of their private key from a paper wallet, instead of entering a raw private key!
 
Transactions are signed client-side, then broadcasted to MyEtherWallet's node.

In fact, we even use their JavaScript file (feel free to check our source-code).

You can even sign transactions on simpleENS offline, then reconnect to broadcast the transaction to MEW's node.

Sending ETH on simpleENS could not be more secure.

However, we recommend you generate a separate account with a small amount of funds when using simpleENS, and keep large funds in an offline wallet.

We recommend you store your private key offline, and enter it manually into simpleENS, where we mask it in a password field.

simpleENS allows you to send ETH to your friends using a name such as "john.rogers" or "vitalik.buterin".

simpleENS also allows you to send ETH to your friend using the real address (e.g "0xdo5d...).

You use your private key to "authorize" transactions - offline.
