I just want to establish the whole chain from miner to my bank account ergo I need an exchanger. I'm trying out Cryptopia. Does anyone have any experience with mining directly to Cryptopia?

Pretty sure topia warns NOT to mine directly to their addresses.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Tried this miner in place of EWBF today. Fired up on my PC easily running GTX 960 very well 161 Sol/s. Then I moved it to a rig running 6GPU EVGA GTX1070 and all I get is "VCRUNTIME140.dl not found; try reinstalling program".

Anybody encounter this on Windows 10?

As the dev wrote:

Dependencies
Linux:
 openssl 1.0

Windows:
Visual C++ Redistributable for visual studio 2015 (VCRUNTIME140.dll)

So you need to install it separate.

Check this out:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/vcruntime140dll/b1a15b0e-e389-41a3-bc49-f4fc85bac575

It should help.

Is this needed for the miner?.. [--pass password]  Mine seems to be running fine without it.
Does it mean the password for the website of zcash.flypool?.. and why would anyone give that out?
use "--pass x"

does the miner have an option to select which gpu's to mine with?

From the OP:

Options:
    --help           Print this help
--dev            Space separated list of cuda devices
    --list-devices   List available cuda devices
    --time           Enable output of timestamps
--logfile        [=path] Append logs to the file named by 'path'
If 'path' is not given append to 'zm.log' in
                     current working directory.
--noreconnect    Disable automatic reconnection on network errors.

So just indicate which gpu you want to use in the bat file. e.g "--dev 0" activates gpu 0 only.

Hi,

Since yesterday I have an issue : sinit timeout after GPU connection

I though it was a driver error so uninstalled/reinsitalled drivers, but nothing changes.

I then tried on a second RIG I have with NVidia cards : same issue.

In the sametime, Claymore Ethereum is working fine on those cards...

Any suggestion ?

Pretty sure topia warns NOT to mine directly to their addresses.
I mine Lux directly there.  They have a notice, but it is more for pools like P2Pool who have some special payment method. Some coins may have issue such as Monero and Electroneum. I think Monero is iffy, works with some pools, and Electroneum could be done if pool supports payment ID (most don't from me looking around). Most coins I mine directly to exchange anyway since it is easier than managing multiple wallets, especially for newer coins. There are multiwallets, but may not have new coin support. Electroneum I use the command line wallet out of necessity. Zec initially was Linux only wallet, so I was forced to use an exchange.

Does anyone have any good 1060 3gb OC setting to share?  I was running +120 core +350 mem on ewbf.

Feeeeeling like I need to tune it down a bit here, been getting that cudamemcpy error a bit.

Try + 175 Core and 0 MEM.
I think MEM is not important at all with EquiHash.
Mem is important, just not as much as Ethash or Cryptonight, and less sensitive to timings. It is bound by both compute and memory bandwidth. There is definitely a difference between 0 and +500.

Anyways, 1060 3GB gets around 270-280, 6GB model 310+.

How do all of you exchange ZEN into BTC? Bittrex has closed for new users (which I am) because of traffic and I haven't really found any alternatives.

there is a few ways i'll give three

ChangeNOW let you change any coin it support any any coin you want as long as it supports that coin .

https://changenow.io/?utm_source=btgexplorer&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=change_btg

ShapeShift does the same thing down side with ShapeShift they Support less coins with a higher exchange Fee .

https://shapeshift.io/#/coins

or use a pool like this one and set payout to BTC and mine Zen cash and get paid with BTC

Mining Pool Hub
https://miningpoolhub.com

or find a exchange that trades Zencash and sell ZENCash for BTC, All exchanges trade BTC...all Exchanges may not trade Zencash.

What is second? The same question ...

Would this be a client side problem or a pool issue? (I'm using btc.suprnova.cc)

Options:
--dev            Space separated list of cuda devices
So just indicate which gpu you want to use in the bat file. e.g "--dev 0" activates gpu 0 only.

i tried this miner and it's not working on my rig with 7+ devices:

it's work fine !  Shocked  Huh

nvidia driver : 388.13
overclocking for 1060   = core 2138 mhz (+160) / mem 4322 mhz (+320)
overclocking for 1070ti = core 1961 mhz (+210) / mem 4622 mhz (+620)

for example ewbf miner working perfect on same params:
