I tried various terms on search here and got this:

An Error Has Occurred!
Select no more than 5 boards at a time.

Searches here have worked for me in the past; is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
I didn't select 5 boards at a time either.

You are selecting more than 5 boards at a time, you need to go inside any board and then search what ever

You want, don't click on Home in forum and search because that would be more than 5 boards mate.

Its a public open forum so you can use google to search through it. Just write in google: bitcointalk yourPhraseOFInterest
Thats it, its better than any forum search engine.

Use google to search for whatever you're looking for here and follow it by site:bitcointalk.org

For example if you want to search the forum for "ledger nano" you type in google "ledger nano site:bitcointalk.org"

Like in this link:

I was confused as well when I first used the forum's search bar. It doesn't let you search for a thread or thread title, it only lets you search for words within a thread, maybe this is expected to be used for threads with hundreds of pages.

Maybe you clicked the search button 2 times , and you did not wait for it to load first. Thats what happen to me when i tried to search something in a section.

Yeah, the search on bitcoin forum is not convenient. Thought you can address the issue by selecting one forum board to avoid over 5 board problem. Or you can try the google search; but some new topics cannot be updated.

In addition. I don't know how to search for key words in one specific topic. As you know, sometimes, the replies for the topic are over hundred pages. It's hard to find the useful info in short time.
