Hi,
i presume validation means confirmation (in bitcoin "jargon"). When you mine bitcoins, after cracking a block you'll immediately know how much bitcoins did you earn however every block (25 btc) needs 120 confirmations (i think it means 120 more block have to be mined by the whole network)... So wait... Also bitminter.com have a feature which for a 1.5% fee (i think) will give you your bitcoins immediately. No need to wait for confirmations.
Be aware that bitminter (maybe also your pool) have a minimum amount of bitcoins which they're willing to send (bitminter 0.01BTC i think).
Bye.

Today, https://mining.bitcoin.cz is totally bed, it sucks... I'm mining with500 Mhash/s and ALL I GOT today was 0.01BTC... Catastrophy!!!! These days I usually got 0.025 with 500 MHash/s, but now it sucks Anyone else has the same problem? Maybe new pool, this one became "not desireable"?

These days I usually got 0.025 with 500 MHash/s, but now it sucks Anyone else has the same problem? Maybe new pool, this one became "not desireable"? I suspect it might have something to do with pool's luck (statistics page -- 100% is normal)... I mine for mining.bitcoin.cz. There are good days and bad days... See the duration column in statistics. Anyway check if you have missed some blocks, see your BTC reward column -- the number should be +/- 10% the same otherwise you didn't have internet connection to the pool or some other failure prevented you from mining. If indeed you mined the whole day non-stop it's the luck. Some times it takes few minutes to break a block some times hours. In the end mining bitcoins is highly about probability and in the long run you'll get some average. I too have witnessed some bad and some good days It's all probability. See https://mining.bitcoin.cz/stats/graphs/ the CDF graph and info near the end of the page and if interested follow the wikipedia's CDF link about how it works. You'll experience (in the long run) these bad times with all pools (i've had some with bitminter too... don't even talking about solo mining -- all pools exactly counteract this bitcoin's characteristic). If you want you may read something about pool hopping, however mining.bitcoin.cz have some novel approach to kinda punish pool hoppers (see http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/5072/what-is-pool-hopping ) I totally do not recommend it because it's unfair. I do not do it however YMMW. Bye

I can see that pool's luck has dropped to 75%... It should go down more for sure, because, today it was even more worse than yesterday... From 0.025 per day, it became 0.01 per day I moved to bitminter for now, until pool mine luck or serves became more profitable Just decided to buy one 7950 but now, not sure if it's a good idea...

I should probably measure it somehow as this is just guesswork (more fun though:) good luck with 7950 I'm still waiting for my butterfly labs asic

I believe that triplemining holds a relatively small share of the network hashrate, so they would probably have a considerable delay in confirming blocks. (I could be COMPLETELY wrong about this, I am new.) Also, if you have not already, read the comparison of different pool payment methods on www.bitcoinmining.com in the "Mining Pools" section. I haven't looked into it, but I assume that triplemining pays in a triplemining system. BitMinter uses PPLNS (which in my experience seems to be pretty fair). PPS is also a comfortable payment system for miners. Here's some excerpts from www.bitcoinmining.com/bitcoin-mining-pools/PPS: The Pay-per-Share (PPS) approach offers an instant, guaranteed payout for each share that is solved by a miner. Miners are paid out from the pools existing balance and can withdraw their payout immediately. This model allows for the least possible variance in payment for miners while also transferring much of the risk to the pool's operator.
PROP: The Proportional approach offers a proportional distribution of the reward when a block is found amongst all workers, based off of the number of shares they have each found.
PPLNS: The Pay Per Last N Shares (PPLN) approach is similar to the proportional method, but instead of counting the number of shares in the round, it instead looks at the last N shares, no matter the boundaries of the round.
Triplemining: Triplemining brings together medium-sized pools with no fees and redistributes 1% of every block found, which allows your share to grow faster than any other pool approach. The administrators of these pools use some of the Bitcoins generated when a block is found to add to a jackpot that is triggered and paid out to the member of the pool who found the block. In this way, everyone in the pool has a better chance to make additional Bitcoins, regardless of their processing power. There are many other mining pool payment systems at that URL. (Y)
