I too feel the same really. I bought @2500 and so far is a big loss, and at the rate its falling it will probably be worth nothing before 1st of Aug!

Why are you considering 22 July as an important date? As far as I know the most important date regarding all the fork FUD is the first of August.

Last summer Bitcoin's price lost half its value, but by Christmas it was hitting ATHs. Keep your coins, wait until next Christmas, and hope history repeats itself.

If someone was interested in selling then they should have sold at the time when the price was around $3000. It is not now the suitable time to sell your bitcoin. We can understand that you are frustrated and this is a good case of panic selling, this is not good since you will lose heaps of money and then the price will rise up and you will be even more frustrated. Well instead of doing that I would recommend you hold your Bitcoin. Bitcoin does take huge drops like this, and a drop below 2k, due to all the pre segwit fud and how it's going to kill Bitcoin, would certainly be possible.

Bitcoin is super volatile and does tend to drop and rise in price a lot, and with such a big event (the hard fork), it would be expected that bitcoin would drop at least 300 in price. Now bitcoin has stabilised, and with over 80 percent of segwit support, recovered all the way back to the 2.7K mark and all looks good in preparation for the hard fork that should be going through.
