Dev, how are you going to peg OFW's value to the Philippines Peso? Will it be similar to Tether approach which is backed by actual fiat currency assets?

That is the goal but the markets will ultimately decide its value once it hits them. 
This coin is not backed by fiat currency assets as there was not ICO therefore no cash asked for or held prior to release.
It is backed by the large market it is targeting and the future potential use in the remittance industry, but as described in the white paper that is part of the roadmap and is not guaranteed.

Okay no probs.  That is pretty much the case with most new coins though isn't it?

Not much point in complaining about using hash-power or risk vs reward when you don't know what the eventual price will be, everyone else is in the same boat.

The choice is up to you, to mine or not to mine, that is the question, which will be answered in time.
