Might as well just release your own. Premined coin that actually compiles.

I now have 3/27 accepted. Is there any way to make cgminer poll faster than 1 second? I feel like if it were polling at, say, 10ms I'd be pulling in a ton of coins here.

why is anyone defending this coin.

I get it you want to pump and dump this premine but dont you realize you could match this level of halfa** release and just release your own coin. Cant you git pull then copy and paste and do a few edits???

Rather than defend it you could release your own coin and get a bigger share of the initial blocks by design

Very good observation, and if you take a look through the source you will see this is exactly what I didnt do. Wink

Even the genesis block reward was 0 coins. So if i had intended to "premine" and "get rich quick" while I "pumped and dumped", I could of made it alot easier on myself like FTC / CHN / MNC.

If you are getting alot of stales, as I am, i believe they should get better after the first difficulty change in a couple hours. Someone has alot of hashing power.

Really because it isnt that hard to release something that compiles completely including the UI elements on various test systems especially linux.

Yeah again they "forgot" to set the initial difficulty to something reasonable.

Just another scam.

I compiled it on linux buddy. I'm sorry you are having troubles, what is the error? Maybe i can help walk you through it.

Franko is a high-value decentralized Internet currency that enables anyone in the world to recieve instant payment for goods and services. Franko is based on the Litecoin protocol but differs from Litecoin in that it is 8x more rare and alot faster.

Website:
http://frankos.org

Wallets:
http://frankos.org/downloads/franko-win32.zip
http://frankos.org/downloads/franko-linux.zip
https://github.com/franko-org/franko/tree/master/compiled

Stats:
30 second block targets
0.25 block reward
11,235,813 Total coins
difficulty retargets every 4 hours

Source
https://github.com/franko-org/franko/

Please scan the files and report back. Happy mining.

Blockchain broken or just broken by design? Wallet isn't even working. Reports transactions completely arbitrary. Hah, why do I get the feeling that all mined transactions are going to the devs?

Have to ask, did you try "listtransactions" and check if they were orphans?

just for curiosity:

what is wrong in my config ?

rpcuser=FM6rCj11qWTaxidT3TeNnQi7NFRVk9dw3x
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

rpcport=7912
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
addnode=8.8.8.8
addnode=8.8.4.4
addnode=77.101.119.112
addnode=174.50.248.26

You told it to use the default p2p port for RPC, but didn't tell it a different-from-default port to use for the p2p

so likely it is colliding on the port.

I know right.  I'm throwing everything I've got at it, 10 minutes after release, and not even stales.

Yep, here's for "lovers" that say us "haters" didn't get on time.

I was here the exact time it was posted and the darn thing won't even compile.  Roll Eyes

It is certainly not a high-value coin when you can pick it up at one second per block.

BBQcoin is higher value as at least it took CPU miners all year to build up their hoards of coins.

(Which was also a heck of a lot fairer. All the coins sitting around being slowly mined at low difficulties are fairer than these recent instamining crap, as everyone has had a year or two to pick up as many as they like, and might yet have another year to pick up more too before they get too difficult for small miners.)

28 times found block 0 payout and 2 transaction..... seems like someone has over 51% of hash since a lot of times multiple blocks are found within a second :p
