Hello guys..

I ordered Biostar TB250-BTC PRO ( should arrive in next weeks ) , and I have 2x290 and 4x1060 6G.
so my question is will a mix of NVIDIA and AMD will work on windows 10 ? if yes, how to be with the drivers ? if no i guess that ill have to use Linux, so which type of Linux you'll suggest ?
currently i'm mining ETH

Thanks for help

It'll work. Just install both drivers and you're good.

I am also waiting for these boards to arrive. I know these boards support 6 AMD and 6 NVIDIA cards, but I am planning to build rigs with 12 NVIDIA cards. I think it must work in linux. Have you tried it with 8+ amd or nvidia cards?

well you have only 6 what is the problem? 2 amd and 4 nvidia and that motherboard can't work with more than 8 anyway, i think only the asus and the new asrock h110 pro btc can work with more than 8 gpu

Neat, apparently these now come in 6 slot, 8 slot and 12 slot versions.

TB250-BTC is 6 slot
TB250-BTC+ is 8 slot
TB250-BTC Pro is 12 slot

Although, it seems they also call the 6 slot TB250-BTC the Pro in some contexts (the 6 slot ones I have say PRO on the box in giant letters) so be careful

oh this is a new one, i was still thinking about the old biostar with only 6 slot, when they released this? i think it's because they don't want to remain behind after the asrock move with the 14 pcie slot

Announced about a month ago. Cryptomined has a video on the 12 slot board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exjRTIZu89Q

TLDR: He used 6 AMD, 6 Nvidia, but can't get all 12 to run on claymore eth. He had to run 6 AMD on one claymore instance, 3 nvidia on another claymore instance, and the last 3 nvidia on EWBF zcash.

Being a newly released product, it's not bad. Software issues can be ironed out in the future, but it's not newbie friendly like the current 6 slot board. If 12 gpus are plug and play in the future, I will use these boards.
