Footy Cash (FOOT) has not dropped - in fact it has gained value. Here's Why: FootyCash has seen a meteoric rise in valuation for the past month; with a price increase of more than 5000% on multiple exchanges.[/b] https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=FOOT_BTC#https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.0Here is why I think FootyCash is a great cryptocurrency:1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist. There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only). How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency. Looking the current price of FootyCash you actually might be able to! 2. Footy is the first Fantasy Sports Crypotocurrency ever made. - Footy is the Bitcoin of Fantasy Sports!3. Fantasy Sports is a multi-billion dollar industry - with tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue just for Fantasy Football alone! If you count all the illegal gambling the figure goes much higher - maybe hundreds of billions? (not that I am condoning illegal gambling - but it's a fact of reality that must be considered anyway). 4. Coinmarketcap list just under 900 altcoins; of those listed only a small percentage of altcoins have a cap of less than 4 million total coin. Every coin on coinmarketcap with a rarity of less than 7 million total coins produced are all worth more than $2.00 USD - with the exception of Dreamcoin (because of YOBIT) and FOOTY CASH (which is currently undergoing a price correction: 5000% increase in the past month alone.) 5. The coin was greatly undervalued because of unawareness of the Footy cryptocurrency and Fantasy Sports as well. As more and more people become aware of its value the price will continue to rise. 6. FootyCash has a great developer, active development, and the best community support!7. FootyCash has a promising roadmap and is currently developing Masternodes for the next release. 8. The name FootyCash may sound funny but " Footy Cash" is an actual English term (apparently): https://www.power100.com.au/news/local-news/81959-footy-cash-to-go-to-good-friday-appeal and http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/california-club-brothel-sues-in-footy-cash-feud/news-story/bd77f7d397a34a067342a113b5bfa5d89. DraftKings, FanDuel, and other Fantasy Sports companies are getting the legislative green light to operate in most U.S States and other countries as well. When these companies decide to follow the trend of most corporations and switch to blockchain technology - I guarantee you that they will take a hard look at FootyCash first!10. Oh, and the price of Bitcoin is dropping and will continue to drop until the August 1st Segwit activation takes place. While Bitcoin is dropping, FootyCash is actually gaining value daily. FootyCash is a great store of value to weather this storm.

I've heard of something happening on August 1st, I still don't know what it is. It seems to be dumping all coins. Is it safe to say they'll continue to drop till the end of the month and then rebound in August? What is happening on August 1st?
No one can really tell what will happen before and after of August 1, all we're seeing right now is a major dump of bitcoin and some altcoins. Good thing I already converted some coins to fiat. The exchange is constantly red and no one knows when it will recover, its jaw dropping when seeing this. The least we can do is trust whatever happens in the activation of segwit2x.

There will be a btc fork on 1st August , so many people are selling their coins to avoid the coming fork.

No one knows on when the dumping would stop. It might dump until it reaches August 1 and theres no assurance that there would be a rebound after that particular date. If you do read out the important facts about August 1 event then you will surely know whats the cause of these price decrease on most coins in the market. Not only bitcoin but altcoins too.

I feel that the coins will be dump until 1 August. However few days before 1 Aug, there might be a small pump when investors buy the cheaper altcoins. In any case, stay safe and monitor the market before investing.

In my opinion, buying at now not bad choice if have good funds can buy, but just use 10-30% for shopping because we not know the price can still falldown in next time or bounce and recover! Ready with happens the price continue falldown and use 10-30% for DCA

This is a tough thing, everyone is selling coins to fiat money, i think the price drop issue is only on bitcoin but it turns out all coins are also drop. I'm confused, which coins should I choose.

It will not safe for you to save until the end of the month, But if you want to buy more cheap bitcoin and you can try to sell some of your bitcoin and buy more at the price of bitcoin already lower. The rebound of the bitcoin price still a speculation we don't know what will happen with bitcoin after the scaling. The 1 August is the day to deploy the BIP148 for the bitcoin. you said like btc will down again this week 17-28 July

Although the news of August 1 is only for bitcoin, but it will still have an impact on altcoin as well. Because in my opinion, until now bitcoin remains a reference price for other altcoin

First things first, no need to panic. Whatever coins you ve purchased and whatever current price is, THERE IS NO LOSS UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY SELL. So, if u re a sensitive type and like to check market price every 2 min, DONT. Just step away from your computer and come back after a few days/weeks.
The market will definitely be extremely volatile for the next couple of weeks even months. I do not think we ll see a decreasing trend only cause current dumps re caused by completely ignorant people who dump cause they panic. For example, BTC was $1830 yesterday and $2000+ already today. So, what do you think how do people who panic sold yesterday feel? Well, like stupid idiots.
Finally, I do not think crypto market will get destroyed after Aug 1. I do not even expect a fork considering SegWit2x support is currently at just under 90%. We have seen these crypto dumps before and the best option is to learn how to ride the wave. Patience is everything in trading.

Critically but no need to panic we should wait for what will happen after the aug. 1.

This is just my opinion regarding the topic, I think as long as bitcoins price is going down the altcoins value also goes down with it. But I think after August 1 if bitcoins price will start to increase slowly, eventually all coins will try to increase back too. But there's no need to panic, I have some coins left in a certain trading site and I just left it there and will try check back after a couple of months or by December.

Unfortunately it's a yes and there is no sort of guarantee that it will stop after august 1, altcoins only survive because of bitcoin and as bitcoin falls altcoins also start falling and the problem is when people sell altcoins they sell it for bitcoin and then they dump bitcoin because of this the price of bitcoin is falling at a really high pace. If you holding just wait soon in few weeks bitcoin will rise and altcoins will also start rising hopefully. If you also noticed the overall market cap has reduced so that is another reason for the fall when total market cap reach $100 billion again everything will surely be back to normal.

Since bitcoin value is decreasing rapidly now, others coins will definitely be affected negatively because bitcoin is the strongest among all the crypto currency. And this is happening as a result of panic of the 1st August meeting as to whether bitcoin will split or not.
You are right. The bitcoin is the king of the cyrpto currency and it is the prime currency for some exchanges. But I think it will not last too long since the market is much stronger then 2013.

I think the downtrend will continue... but it will be nothing as dramatic as what we have seen in the last few days.

Well, 1st August is the day that the blocks in blockchain of transactions will increase I think. But the instability of knowing how this will happen is making the volatile values of every coin go down ! I guess it will be like this till atleast start of August. But am also hoping that they will get back on track once this problem will be solved !
