Each bet has "Validated" field. This field is set to True if outbound transaction has been seen by other nodes in the network and has been confirmed. Please note that it takes some time to check all the transactions. |

I hope they allow new accounts by then, now account / wallet opening is invitation only. There is a loop hole in it. Go to http://ripple.com/client and there is a chance that it will bring you to a sign up page. I cannot check though, I am on an old public computer that does not support WebSockets. |
