The email was sent some minutes prior to when I posted the screenshot here but I posted an earlier screenshot where he confirmed he was their lead escrow so yes, he was (past-tense) briefly working with them but as the screenshot above shows, isn't anymore (and would love it if he isn't associated with them henceforth).

I get wanting to be anonymous (certainly from a different perspective from WCX) which is why their anonymity was hardly ever an issue for me but this, this isn't right.

Fran (our former escrow) recently asked to obtain residence information of our directors who are private key holders, as well as KYC information for investors in our ICO and presales. This requirement was not in the contract we had signed with him and we were assured we would not need to provide such information to him. For that reason we were obliged to terminate the escrow arrangement.

If the email posted above is true, we're unhappy with Fran's behavior and tone after his termination as escrow, since he had confidential access to WCX's product development and knew of our legitimacy well ahead of the public.

Moving forward we're likely to be focused on the product development (WCX) rather than the ICO for the next week or so. Presales are currently closed but we expect to announce new escrow managers and re-open them soon.

I contacted both. Seems like the escrow is butthurt, he breach the contract with WCX so WCX fired him, now he talking shit about them. He was set to make some millons from the ICO...

I do not understand why so much negativity and so much air shaking. The project works, the beta version works, everything that the authors of the project promise - they do in time. Personally, I do not see any scam in this case.

Considering the fact that now there is no ICO and simply there can not be any scam (because at the moment there is no fundraising) - then why pour the negative on the project

Agree with Litex. The project has a working product which proves it's legitimate beyond doubt.

Also my 2 cents on Fran Strajnar: I've personally worked with him before and he's not necessarily the easiest person to work with. He's quite self-centered and inconsistent in his dealings so wasn't too glad when this project brought him as escrow. Hopefully they'll find someone better.

They still have many server problems and from my digging, probably very poor security. "works" is too good of a word for now. As for "can't be a scam" .... I am pretty sure they already opened for pre-ico deposits, and without escrow like they kept stating. Sure, closed now after collecting funds... There is also a good amount of funds on their semi-secure platform that is prime for being "hacked and stolen". So, plenty of ways for them to exit.

Not saying they will. Am still thinking 50/50 chance.

this is true that the lack of informations about WCX is not good for your communication, please change your policy and make some news about the team. I like your product, i like the interface, everything, but you also need to provide more clarity about your project , many peoples dont understand why its so secret to hide simple informations ... make some efforts guys

You seriously are going to perform an ICO as an anonymoys developers of centralized exchance without disclosing your indentity to ANYONE? You are not going to get registered? Well i guess that explains why aren't you dealing with banks. And "built by Apple & Wall St team" well i quess we can't confirm that either. You can claim to have any CV you want.

In the end its about how good the business is and if they can deliver the product and WCX did. 99% of ICOs only make promises, no product, and stupid investors send money based on "team" photos. if you still believe WCX is scam even after they made their product live and working, you can judge the quality of product for yourself its right in front of your eyes, maybe the only ICO I see do this BEFORE the ICO, something is wrong with your head if you think still "scam"

Hey, i can see that you have some referral coins that you want to cash out.. Scams with working products is nothing new, they just won't develope it further if they don't want to. And i wouldn't worry so much about stealing just an ICO money, because NOTHING keeps them for taking btc in the exchance as well. Why wouldn't they? They have nothing to lose.
If you really can't see a difference for giving your money to an anonymous poster or confirmed people with linkedin accounts, please invite your friends too; scams need more people like you to thrive.
