looks like a friend, in your case will have to reinstall the purse and sync again. Only save the file wallet dat, so as not to lose their funds. I don't know a simpler solution.

After having pressed ignore for a few times after each wallet restart, it suddenly started to download the whole chain again by itself, after this everything was functional again.

Great to see the devs putting up their own money to get the coin listed on different exchanges. More exposure is always a good thing and it could lead to other exchanges also taking notice of KEK and maybe wanting to add it themselves too. Hopefully some good volume will be paired with it.
