The answer is it depends on the investor and how much capital they have invested. Investors with larger portfolios can allocate a portion to speculative high flyers.

A) investor is completely new to crypto and has no capital invested - may be better of buying off the crypto reserve currencies  BTC, LTC or ETH

B) investor is experienced, owns a portfolio with 1 of more BTC portfolio value - might consider buying one of the coins depending on their views. XVG has privacy features and the roadmap has smart contracts for the future.It is my anticipation that privacy coins as a group will continue to outperform in the future. RDD has PoS staking available so this may be a consideration for some investors.

C) investor has a large portfolio with 15+ crypto currencies - this investor might consider buying both RDD and XVG. NB I consider both XVG and RDD speculative names compared with the franchise names in the crypto space: Bitcoin, Ether, LiteCoin, Monero, Dash, Decred, Waves, NewEconomyMovement, Nx, Factom.

I will invest in these two altcoins as it is very cheap at the present time and certainly these 2 altcoin will be pumped from the investors. I am sure later this year 2 altcoin will to go the moon

i had some rdd in the early december good dividends but i was so stupid and sold at 5 sat because i was happy getting them off.
30 million reddcoins for only 700 euros
the project itself is a very good idea but it had only one dev and it wasnt very well organized. the hype about the project, the cheap prize and the whole hype altcoin pump in the cryptosphere did his thing.

i can say at this state it isnt worth it at all

They're both shitcoins, so I'd advise not buying either one.  I'm not real familiar with xvg but rdd is total garbage.  You might get lucky if someone decides to use it in a pump and dump scheme, but I'd sell it as soon as it pops.  If you hold either one long-term,  you're asking for trouble.   Rdd just went up to something like 160 sat, but there's no support because no one uses it,  and that's not going to change.

This. RDD has lost it's way. It occasionally gets pumped by pumper-dumpers who accumulate cheaply, but it always falls back because no-one uses it.
