Nothing, the important part is what people do when they get to know that information if they decide to not adopt it then things continue as usual, if they have a negative reaction then a ban may follow, and if the reaction is favorable then the price will go up a lot.

if a lot of people started to know more about bitcoins and or other altcoins., so it will increase demand for such coins and if the supply is limited e.g. case of bitcoin then the price will be increased a lot., and if the supply is unlimited e.g. stellar coin , then not much difference.,

but i may be wrong., about altcoin , but it surely will increase bitcoin price.

Bitcoin will go to the Moon! Currently not a lot of people know about Bitcoin or what they have heard was negative. If we can spread the word about this technology and dismiss all the negativity, we will see Bitcoin prices reach levels like $10 000 to $1 000 000 per bitcoin.

knowing is not enough. the cryptocurrency in question needs to be useful to be adopted and be able to keep its price up.
for bitcoin we saw that the news about Japan spread through the media a lot and that has increased awareness and led to a big price rise which it kept the price up because bitcoin is useful and it has lots of usages as currency.

but the same thing happened for altcoins, the news or rather say fake news for them hit the media the same way. ethereum for example has been advertising nonstop but you can see it only formed a bubble which then popped because you can keep the price of something up based on pure speculation and no usage.

I think that everything would remain the same and nothing much would change. Only the popularity would be increased and that nothing else was to really change.
Bitcoin is still in its 'development phase' and will still take plenty of time before it is converted from an asset, an investment, to a fully operational cryptocurrency that is widely accepted all over the world and has the capacity to replace current currencies such as the USD and EURO. This will still take some time, but we are getting there....

Also, we need to let others know more about the use and benefits that come with cryptocurrencies as there has been a lot of media scrutiny surrounding bitcoin in the past few years. Most of these campaigns are fueled by banks and large financial services that do not want to get involved with the decentralised nature that bitcoin offers. If we are to gain a lot of popularity, I certainly think this is one of the ways to get started.

If that happens, that will be good and bad at the same time for crypto currency market. If more people knows about bitcoin and start investing in it, the market cap of bitcoin or any other altcoin will be increased and the price of that coin will be increased. So people associated with trading and investing of crypto currency world will be benefited.

On the other hand, the governments may step in to reduce the money laundering possibilities associated with crypto currencies by declaring it illegal. There are many countries where the legal status of bitcoin is not clear and hence people are freely using it. But if a government wants to curb the usage of crypto currencies in their country. It will hamper the growth of crypto currencies big time. So if the right people known about bitcoin it's ok, but if the governments know about it more, that may be a disaster for their countrymen.

Generally, more people knowing about Bitcoin should be a good thing, but that will never happen since it is unlikely for crypto currencies to go mainstream.

Knowing could be in 2 different categories. Knowing and doing something with what you know or knowing and not doing anything with what you know. Before we can start getting to the stage where we start having huge global adoption, I think a lot must have been in place already and I still see the phase we are as the testing phase. A lot of reviews will still be done by devs and gradually we will get to a full point of no return and one thing that I am sure of is that, most of us that totally believe and know now, will be smiling hugely then! That is what will happen!!

Its really going to be a cool thing but its not enough to know about all this but be active in it because as at now, alot of people know about bitocin but not a lot are even taking the bold step in getting involved. Eventually when that happens, then we get to see a high level of stability where the volatility will be reduced to a great level compared to what we are seeing now as the only time we see a major shift will when a major even happens aside that all changes will be marginal.

Crypto currencies do not have total control so I think that the problem with volatility will always be. In Fiat we don't see because they are run by banks. The stability of Fiat currency will not save them from inflation, but with crypto currencies we do not see.

Definitely the price of bitcoin will surely rise exponentially if a lot of people, meaning globally will adopt btc and altcoin as well. But the thing is, if they don't used or transact bitcoin then I guess it will not contribute as much to the price if I'm not mistaken. Look at Japan, they have adopted it so it means that they should used it just like regular fiat. We did see a dramatic increase in price once Japan has done that because then the demand has increase X folds causing the price to touch $2000++ easily in just a matter of months.

If the entire world knew about bitcoin there is no doubt that bitcoin will reach at least 5k, unless the way they found out about bitcoin was really dodgy and they had a bad view of bitcoin. Even altcoins wll be going through the moon and there will be heaps of new companies that try to profit off this like companies that make altcoins or trading exchanges. Probably something else we will see are super slow confirmation times due to a congested blockchain.

nothing happens actually it will still depend on people's decision. Perhaps, somehow people will not join or adopt cryptcurrency it's because they think this is SCAM. With the advent of blockchain and cryptocurrencies being as new and revolutionary as it is, predicting the five-year projected value of each of the currencies and requires numerous factors to be considered.
