Safest way to invest that money is splitting it in 10 or more and put that money monthly into big "stable" coins and promising coins, never exceeding 10% of your portfolio into any coin other than btc.
The best and most profitable way I , and no one, knows since we can't predict the future, remember that only invest money that you are willing to lose

If you can wait a year, just buy bitcoin 80% , Eth 30%, then wait. Any other investment will be the same as gambling, buy stratis only if you can wait five years minimum.

Never take financial advice from someone that cant add 2 coins to 100%  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

p.s. All crypto = gambling

I think you should diversify the money in BTC, waves, stratis and a little money in cheapest altcoins.

I want to do that, I´m waiting the perfect time to buy the coins.

All in in BAT or another coin is not a good idea for me !

I think too the key is diversification. But the final decision belongs to you ...

Any store can buy, sell, and accept Crypto

Monero - 40%
Waves - 30%
Stratis - 30%

In next 6 months I see Monero at 70$+ Waves 10$+ Stratis 10-15$ or more.
But being crypto you can never be sure, so If 1 or 2 of them don't move you still not loose money.
Whats the point to invest in Monero when all other good coins give same or better returns in next 6 months period.
Better 50-50 on Waves and Stratis and earn lot more returns for same amount of investment.

I would advice, diversify in 5-8 coins. 5 Stable and well grown over period coins like ETH, Waves, Stratis, Golem, Litecoin or something else you prefer based on your homework.
Choose 2-3 high risk coins which are cheap and has better chance of growing in future like Siacoin, BitShares, Ardor, Bytecoin, Burst, Stellar

so you still have chance of earning lot of profit if any of those high risk are on roll.

Hi bitcointalk!

This is my first post ever on this forum! I do follow the crypto market for a couple of months now and I think the moment has come to invest in it. I'm actually hoping for another leg down first and then go for it but I'm suddenly not sure anymore this is going to happen.

I'm going to invest 10000€. My heart says; go all inn in Stratis, forget about a year, then look back and instantly recieving a big smile on the face.

But I know a lot are not going to advice this, putting all the eggs in one basket SO that's why I'm here, and asking for some advice.

Should I follow my heart and just go for it? Or should I just stick to bitcoin only? Or diversify in multiple coins like most of you do?

Glad to hear some opinions and how you men and ladies are doing this?

Crypto is IMO just at the beginning... This is going be so big in a couple of years.. I had the feeling a couple months ago I missed this great opportunity but nahh..

Looking forward to some suggestions!

Peace
You are actually right, even me would really say that dont put your eggs on the same basket which means diversifying your money would be the best moves because incase that the coins would fail you can still able to recover since you do have another options to earn.Unlike on focusing just on one coins. Stratis does have the potential but we cant still be sure if it would reallt rise up later on. I would suggest, bitcoin, eth, monero, stratis, waves.

You should look for somes coins that have real projects like Casino ICO or anything else that is real, those coins have potential to grow up in long term.
It would be smarter to invest into few coins and once at least one of them shoots, you'll have a significant profit. And of course, a working product is crucial for a good investment. So make sure to concentrate on projects like that. But I wouldn't stick to casino projects and there are already too many of them, the competition is too high, so it's pretty difficult to predict, which one will actually be successful.
Better look for a unique product. Like reOrder - https://ico.reorder.world. They already have a working product, real goals and a great potential to my mind.

aside from bitcoin , you can go all in for Ethereum and forget it for about 2 years or you can divide your portfolio for 4. 2 long term and two short term, undoubtedly bitcoin and ethereum must be in the priority list for long term or why not try ripple xrp. for short term i trust Japanese omisego and Singapore's tenx or try the some undervalued coins like nem, iota and waves.

Honestly a month or two ago people would have said Stratis is a great choice. It's performance as of late has been lacklustre and concerning. Nonetheless, Stratis is a real strong contender for coins that will earn big $$$ in the future, the team is strong and they are ambitious.

Still I would say you should diversify a bit, there are many strong new contenders. Check out other platform coins like Neo and others

Another sleeping giant is Golem.

That is right. Most of the top 10 market cap mineable coins are good, for example, ETH or Bitcoin Cash.

Buy bitcoin if you can extend the waiting time to several years, buy etherum if you expect growth in about a year, buy waves if you want a quick price difference.
