Hello everyone, we at BTfuture are developing the first public prediction markets operating exclusively in Bitcoins. We look to span the range of topics from presidential elections, to sports, to climate change.

http://www.btfuture.com/

We are several weeks away from beta launch, and would like to introduce our website to the Bitcoin community, ask for advice and suggestions, and share our experiences with other developers.

We are very excited and feel privileged to join you.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi Guys,

I've read many posts in this forum and thought about: hey, why not create a mining pool. So I did :-) If there are some guys who want to join in, here's my address: http://www.bitcoin-server.de . Oh yeah, I've forgot to tell, that I'm from germany, in my opinion there are to less mining pools in germany, or off course to less mining pools with native german speakers...

My development knowledge reaches from html, javascript, php over sql and mysql to java, c#, visual basic .NET, a bit of c++ and even a bit of python.

Also if there are people who want to transfer knowledge from one pooladmin to another I'm very interested.

Best Regards.

Boris

Hello,

I have been using bitcoin for some time now as a miner. I am rated at http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=quellhorst&sign=ANY&type=RECV

I plan on updating the site abtain.com to accept bitcoin for payments for posts among other things.

Professionally I am a web developer since the mid 90s and plan to create several new web services related to bitcoins.

My plan for the forums is to help others and get feedback on my bitcoin experiments.

This was my first addition to the forums:
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=31525.msg398968

Would like to discuss bitcoin nextgen protocol enhancements at a technical level on the forums.

I'm also about to relaunch a mtgox automation suite of services in a few days that might interest users.

I am a software developer with more than 15 years of experience. I also have a financial background so I have taken a keen interest in BTC. I have written a couple of pieces of software around BTC and I hope to sell them on the forum.

I am the owner of Microtronix ESolutions, we currently offer all our professional hosting services in BTC currency and all our products are on the wiki already.

We actually have quite a lot of customers in the short month and a half we have been offering services in BTC.

Last week we launched FastCat BRPC for the bitcoin community, also in the wiki under frontends.  Shortly we will be launching the pro version with a LOT of integration features into the bitcoind client.

Yesterday we launched our brand new online wallet service, not really an online wallet, but more of a server to host a bitcoind client owned by the wallet owner.  Much better than online wallet services and pretty cheap considering what you get.

Hopefully we will be launching more bitcoin services here in the months to come, always open to new ideas Smiley

EDIT: Didn't know we were allowed to so link: http://www.microthosting.com

We have been in business now for 10 years in 2 countries of the world.

Hi, Forum. Long-time-reader, First-time-poster.

I do MS Office development, specifically MS Excel: Formulas, Macros, VBA, Charts, Graphs, and more. I specialize in creating clean, versatile, user-friendly tools for data-entry, and/or analysis. My clients range from lawyers to real estate agents to financial institutions.

I offer a 10% discount to anyone who transacts with Bitcoin.

Seeing as how we're all nerds here, I don't expect any bites from the forum here, but I figured I'd dangle the worm anyway. Wink I need five "newbie" posts afterall...

Hey guys, I work for a company that recently got involved in the Bitcoin business. We have just launched a Domain Registration Service solely based on Bitcoin. Prices are displayed in USD or EUR but when you checkout you pay with your Bitcoin wallet. It's as simple as that. Besides that domains can be purchased truly anonyously as you can pay only with Bitcoin and use a privacy protection service for free so that your identity is not displayed in the whois database.

Don't forget to check it out at: http://www.BitDomain.BIZ . If you checkout our Twitter Account @BitcoinDomain you can request your 10% discount.  Wink
