Ugh.. finally got into my account on bitmain's site, order is marked expired and unpaid after 6 confirmations of payment.  I'm sure it'll be a totally pleasant experience to deal with support and sort that issue out.   Roll Eyes

I paid as well before the expiration my guess is overloaded servers stopped the process of accurate payment timings. Mine show expired unpaid but the beauty of blockchain is time stamps so it's hard to argue that.

Yeah I'm not worried about it.. the payment has completed.  I just hate having to deal with support to verify what I have done.  Hopefully that won't be too much hassle, although their helpdesk site is having just as many problems as the main site right now even though its hosted on zendesk.com not their own servers.  That site worked once, now it won't load just like the main site.  Their whole web dev configuration is a hot mess.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I got another 2 order through since the other one expired. Again if someone is interested to pay for it, I'll ship one of them to them and pay for the other tomorrow morning once this coinbase limit resets... I wish I had thought about the limit they have. ;(.

Just order one then... why are you trying to order two if you can only afford one?

No need to bother support with it yet. Expired orders happen often. Give it 48 hours and if it's not fixed by then you can consider filing a ticket. It's not like this will delay shipping or anything Smiley

I think they took support.bitmain.com offline so they don't have to deal with all the expired transaction questions i'm sure they're being bombarded with right now.

1 hour just isn't sufficient time to allow a BTC transaction to confirm, they should know better, being a blockchain tech company and all.

I think everyone here got one right? I think Bitmain might be trying to offload these. Any thoughts?

They're in the business of offloading them, so probably.  But I don't think they're about to pull a D3+ out of their hat, at least not within the next few months.

Offloading them now is a good thing, that means the capacity of the network will be known pretty soon and difficulty increases will eventually taper off giving more predictable returns.

It also means that the market for the A5 dashmaster has been significantly reduced, which is a more likely objective for bitmain since that's their only direct competitor in this space.

Shows out of stock now.

Impossible to say if this was a big batch or not... we'll see how much they got if they scrape their payments into a larger wallet.

How could we track that since each order has a unique BTC address?

I don't think Bitmain will ever fix their web page or their order system.  It is always like this.  Next everyone will be paranoid because they will list your orders as expired and not paid... Then eventually they will update the orders to the correct status, but until then everyone will LOSE THEIR MINDS! LOL

I think that if u have limited quantity is totally unfair permit to buy 10-20 or more unit to one user !!!
Expecially when this people resell this unit for big amount of money !!!

Usually they move the funds into a single address.

I think that if u have limited quantity is totally unfair permit to buy 10-20 or more unit to one user !!!
Expecially when this people resell this unit for big amount of money !!!

Assholes would create multiple accounts and would still grab a bunch of miners so a lower limit would just inconvenience large customers who legitimately want 20 miners.

BTW the limit in this batch is 50.
