Picked up 1 more gotta find a place for this one haha or maybe just resell it IDK well see what happens hopefully the difficulty doesn't rise way too fast for these miners. I wonder what the actual profitability will be come november?Huh?

I will preface this by saying I hope no one buys another d3 for selfish reasons. The thread is really negative about the outlook so here's some good vibes and also a possible outcome.
I think that it's entirely possible BTC stays over 3000 usd by end of November. I believe the price of dash will at least 2.2x current price as of today. I believe the difficulty will more than double today's diff but it will be somewhat offset by the price of dash and then the subsequent launch of several new x11 projects looking to capitalize on the newfound blockchain security offered by asic mining. We may not touch the numbers per machine on current profitability charts but there are many reasons why our purchases are not a lost cause. These are just my thoughts you are welcome to continue the trend in crypto to be overly pessimistic.

Or by October BTC crashes back to $1500 LTC to $20 and Dash $75 Ethereum to $125 and the bubble burst and by November all we are receiving is toaster/room warmers.

You know the bubble is going to burst sooner or later having said that I am in for 1 in November 1-15 batch but nervous as hell... lol I would be happier if Bitmain stops selling a new batch every week... and dont forget come September a new batch of D3 will be on Hashnest maybe by second batch in october you will find hashnest 2000 units for $1800.

Wow! Was able to get my order through today!? So easy? Nobody is interested anymore? Is it because by the time it ship, there isn't much profit to be made anymore? X11 network diff gonna skyrocket by the time I guess Cheesy
Ok, I got 1 hr time to pay for it... but I guess I will pass this time. Waiting for S10/L3++/D3+ lol Grin

No they don't, I'm the one controlling how much miners bitmain is allowed to sell.

Hi, don't look at $50 discount but the difference in ROI Time is much more, saving is 0.11BTC each D3 (500$) compared to the precedent batch.

Yea I wasn't being pessimistic at all I was just saying I wonder what the difficulty will be as we all know and has been said many times before NO ONE KNOWS. so I'm kind of thinking because the new miners and the popularity of them plus the rise in difficulty the price of dash will definitely raise by how much I'm not sure. I don't think we are in a bubble btw I think it is a new horizon for crypto currency it is becoming more and more popular (just the other night I was out to dinner and the people next to me were talking about it lol). So I don't see the prices plummeting anytime soon unless something unprecedented happens but I think these D3's are going to be a sound investment I just don't know if the profitability will be 4000/5000 per month maybe more like 2500/3500 by the time november comes. Then there will be new and better miners so there is always that on the horizon as well.

So just so you know I am VERY OPTIMISTIC Smiley Just curious as to how this dash mining frenzy will play out.

With

Pinidea
Ibelink
Baikal
Innsolicon
Bitmain

All dumping X11 equip in Oct or if late 1 or 2 weeks into November, I expect a lot of
Toaster doorstops. I got 1 $2,600 D3 2nd batch ships 18 to 28th September.

Got caught up in hype and got $1,600 3rd batch (dubious) November.

My view I need the 100% equip deduction. If lucky I see 14 month plus roi even with the above equip deduction.

So imho, hell yes bitmain is having a fire sale.

Oh well. Not my wisest asic boat to hop on. I will likely lose 25% in reality with electric on this play. Live and learn.

Got to pop up a ball once in awhile, at the plate I guess?

Toaster city is likely on D3's, weekly, imho. But folk may be wising up.

Still on sale 1/2 day later....they may have lots yet to move and little time to do so.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Strangely, this batch is much better than the previous, because 1 day delay - 25% BTC price.
Damn... I have bought 2 units with power supply last batch for about 1BTC and now with only 1 day delivery delay I can get 3 at the same price.
ROI .... Huh?

Let's hope the sales stay low on this batch and they slow down manufacturing. Pinidea appears to be a scam. No warranty so their hashrate is most likely much lower. Ibelink, not sure, but their price is too high for mass adoption. Baikal is a scam, trying to dump 2 gh used miners for 3x the price of a D3. They'll be out of business soon. Innsolicon appears to have made very unreliable miners. Given how Bitmain dominates other ASIC fields I could have guessed their competitors are either completely full of it or producing subpar equipment. There's no way they turned the tables on the market leader so fast. Especially PinIdea and Baikal, untrustworthy companies from the start.

Pinidea miners are truly unreliable I will give you that. But Ibelink is a good company, although they're gonna get rammed in the ass very hard now that bitmain decides to come play.

The problem is: we don't even know how long Dash can hold its price right now, let alone November
