Guys I think that something is wrong with my order.. Sad
I ordered one D3 (October batch) on 2017-08-03
I sent money fot that on 2017-08-07
Order status is after 2 weeks still: Paying, Unshipped, Valid

Now I check my order and I can see something strange. There is Payment Details like this:

Payment Detail
Total Amount :   1651.27 USD
BANK :   1626.27 USD
BTC/USD rate :   2813
LTC/USD rate :   43.9
USD/CNY rate :   6.72
Time of Payment :   2017-08-09 04:51:04

Do you have any idea why is the BANK amount lower? Is this means that bitmain received about 30 USD less then I sent? I am sure that I choosed "PAY ALL FEES" when I processing the payment.
Do you have any idea how I can solve this? I have opened ticket on bitmain support but I don't get response.

Their bank fees came out. I got an email a few days later asking me to pay the balance via LTC. Paid it and i was good. The second time i ordered i included an extra 35 bucks to cover their bank fees. Went through no problem. As far as i know there is no pay all fees option to cover the receiving bank fees because the sending bank has no idea how much the fees are going to be. Thats what the lady at my bank told me anyways.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

hello
i've got the same problem,
"It means your payment has fell short by $25 due to bank fees or something and you will have to pay the balance using BTC/LTC and you will receive a email with payment wallet address."

Most banks don't offer this option.

rumor has the koreans are buying the shit out of btc and now dash, reason for the current surge.

One word: TRUMP

SOUTH Korea is doing the buying, NOT NORTH Korea.

Not the same thing at all since 1945.

1950 but who's counting. It's good news that East Asia is ramping up cryptos so fast. Maybe the west will start taking it seriously.

I was just watching a vlog about the pressure out of BTC into the alts due to the blocks being full and the network fees have gone to the moon.  So everyone is looking at Dash, ZEC, BCC/BCH, XMR.  The pressure is on and people are shifting away from BTC because they have slowed the network to a crawl and are charging large fees to get anything processed.

So this may tie in with the sudden shift at Bitmain to Scrypt and X11 mining.  Could be an interesting correlation there that should be taken note of.  Now is probably a good time to move a little BTC over to BCH/BCC, Dash, XMR, ZEC and others who have addressed some of these issues that Bitcoin Core appears to be completely missing the boat.

This keeps up and Dash may be at $500 or higher by the end of the year.  BCC/BCH has jumped and wouldn't surprise me to see it continue as they are decreasing diff on that coin so it is going to be more profitable to mine than BTC if I understand the easing they are planning for Bitcoin Cash.

Exciting times for the alts, Core is about to see a mass exodus as they have lost touch with the mandate, mission, the reason for BTC's existence...

Check after Segwit is activated before making too many assumptions, as Bitcoin will always be the alpha dog of the pack. I like some of your points you bring out though.

Very good points and observations. As Confucius said, "May you live in interesting times"....These are truly interesting times.

You only live once....if you do it right, once is enough.

I just tried emailing a few random firstname.lastname@bitmain.com addresses of known employees to see if any of them get to someone who can help me get my order fiasco sorted out.  If any of that goes well, I'll be removing my angry anti-Bitmain rants so don't be surprised if a bunch of my messages disappear, that would mean things went well.

OMG I found someone that replies to emails at Bitmain.

This is a promising step.  Fingers crossed.  Thanks craft_mine!

they still had the psu's available for anyone needing those however

Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Now that they know how many D3s to produce in total, they will put up at least 1,000 on hashnest by end of this month. For around $ 3,000/pc.
It was the same strategy with the L3s.

What are we thinking then strategy wise with the D3's?

Mining related here, what's your 2 cents worth approach ?

I'm completely new at BitcoinTalk, just spent the last 2 hours reading most of the lasts poata of
This thread. I need advise from someone who is not really emotional but objective.

I bought 4 D3 1 from a Reseller (oct batch) at $4.000 and 3 straight from Bitmain at $1450 each (November batch)

The first one I got was a rookie mistake but what's done is done, my question is:

What would you do in my position, would you try to resell the machines ? Or
Just keep them. I guess one of the things in my favor is I'm in Venezuela and electricity bills are
Virtually FREE.

My friend who actually introduced me to the mining word said
Similar speculations were made with L3's and as it turns out
It hasn't been bad at all.

What are the real possible scenarios here? I'm in no rush
Of getting ROI this year but I certainly wouldn't wanna wait over a year
To get my $9,000 back, in that case I would rather  Invest in my current field
(Social media).

I await for your kind replies. Thank you. Have a nice day
