lol..yeah! keep mining and hold those coins until price rises Grin
son you area making a big mistake you need to learn son

Why is he making a big mistake ? given there are 1000's of more D3's going to be hitting the market sooner the harder they will become to mine and potentially push the prices up???

It's potential for both ways though is why everyone is getting worried. I remember in late July checking monthly on 2 D3 was 11000 USD. Today it's 3600 for a month for 2. This is a gigantic drop in income. Dash/x11 would have to triple and btc needs to blow past 5000. Although it's possible we have to be somewhat realistic at this point it's already nearly 70% drop in the money these asics make. That's not chump change to lose when figuring on purchase. If your d3 cost 10k (sorry Crane) but your risk level just passed the moon and hit Mars level.

edit: I do hope all of us ROI and profit, let me make that perfectly clear, but really really think this over for any future Bitmain or other random manufacturer's rig purchases.

We all knew this was happening though.  By calculating at the time before a single delivery has been made means that's the profit if you own the only D3 running in the world.  With that dash hashrate where it was it was bound to get crushed like this.  I still bought them though cause 1 month roi is just not in the cards.  Ride it out a bit and I think the first batch will be fine.

That's what I was saying.

200 Th/s reported now on whattomine.com (180 Dash x11 + 20 nicehash x11)

I really wasn't expecting this to be this bad!

God bless the D3 profits now!

If this keeps up, we may see up to 400 TH/s from just the first batch alone. This is a real nail biter!

Is this the first time that a manufacturer really UPOD  (UnderPromiseOverDeliver)  or what ?
16,777777% more hashing-speed, 20% less pwr consumption.
What temps do you see with yours ? It seems to target for chip-temps at 70C for me.
One board has crazy high hw-err but there are no X-es coming up, yet. Hashing speed is fine, too. Keeping my fingers crossed  Tongue
From my calculation yesterday i think that the fans are at ~ 70%

KNC Miner delivered the Titan scrypt ASIC considerably better than advertised, a little foggy on the details - it was 3 years ago.

In last 2 months i am chasing to buy D3, and hopefully i will get 1 at the start of the November, but numbers are dropping hardly, that i am getting doubts should i buy it or not. No one knows how much income per day will be in 1 month, but it will much lower then today. Well this is what happens when you dont start riding wave when new tech comes out Sad . I think in the end i will go with 1 or 2 S9's

Thanks, as it seems only profitable thing is to have "NEW TECH" bought at first batch, if you have small part of your money to invest into that, and as it seems dying, just sell your miner, and repeat again.... S9 seems stable now according to nicehash around 500$ per month

I think D3 will finish stable to, probably between 80-160$ per month profit on December.

Lot of people forget BTC miner dont get so much ROI at start oO, let this new ASIC x11 world grown, with this big jump support, i bet some new coin will inc on this one.

Remember to split income by 50% we have to double hashrate again. When second batch will be delivered i bet for a 300-400$ per month profit.

Only first batch will grab 1k5$ or more for first month.

I did not expected batches from 30k to 50k miners. My energy cost is 26 eurocent per KW. I orderd 4x 3d miners. Probely i dont have to plug them in at the end of november. Also a lot of pre sales of this batch online. Pff, bye bye 6000 euro + 1500 vat  Undecided or the dash price must dubble  Huh

the d3 is 17% faster then expected, doesn't sound like much but its great for miners, but bad too, that's 17% more then expected difficulty increase, not what people were expecting.. Changes everyone's estimates on roi.

Listen to him, he is right, try to sell around 2000-2500 each, or offer 2500 and someone will bargain lower it to 2200, and you will in a little bit profit when you sell them, and you can invest into other tech

Yes i will try to sell, but i live in the Netherlands. So here everybody has the high enegry cost problem. If i ship them abroad, then again the miners will be taxed with vat  Sad

The price of dash will easily double. I live in the Netherlands too. I want to soon start a miners cooperative. I know how to get industrial power rates, just need to get enough capital. So you go to any bitcoin meetups around Amsterdam?

It could be worse for you, i sent my miner to France.   A country that is trying to match the US in fascism. My first miner was stolen at customs. This one was held for regulatory  review. Complete bs as its 100% legal. But this time my lawyer prepaired. If it is stolen or held unjustly they will soon see an injunction.
